Portishead hotel

Booked a premiere plus room for 4 nights. After the first night we asked at reception for our room to be refreshed and all that happened was a pile of towels (which we didn't request) plonked on our unmade bed and our teacups replaced. Tea, coffee and milk not replenished so did that ourselves and we were told that you were only entitled to the 'sweet treat' when you first arrived. We payed just over £20 each night extra for choosing a plus room but can't really see what we gained from a standard room - very disappointed.

premium room had good facilities but the bath had hairs inside it and a tea ring on the corner of the bath. Also at breakfast the fresh coffee machine was broken. only options were instant coffee or tea

Excellent location for a stop over on the way to Cornwall. Clean & comfortable rooms, warm & cosy. Unfortunately spoilt by the food & service in the evening restaurant. I ordered Mediterranean Chicken, salad, flatbread with chicken peas & hummus. The chicken breast was reconstitute, tough & tasteless. No salad just a couple of sprigs of rocket & red onion. The flatbread was cold, raw & uncooked. Staff not interested when I made a comment. Arrived for Breakfast at 9am which was barely warm & lots of tables were left uncleared. Not what I expected after a long or an onward journey. Would not recommend eating in the Restaurant.

Wonderful location near the marina. Rooms recently upgraded to a high standard, best we've seen in a premier Inn. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We had a serious emergency during our last stay when a hot water pipe burst under the bath late in the evening while our two kids were having their bath. Hot water quickly flooded the room ankle-high, which was incredibly stressful and scary.The way the hotel staff responded was absolutely phenomenal. Angelika actually came in from her own home late at night just to help us get out of trouble and make sure we were safe. The rest of the staff also acted incredibly quickly to move us to a new room immediately and handle the situation without any delay. To make up for the ordeal, they even gave our family free breakfasts the next morning.We are so incredibly grateful for Angelika and the wonderful team. Their quick actions and genuine care turned a terrifying situation into a demonstration of world-class hospitality. We cannot recommend this place enough thanks to its amazing staff!
