"Certainly haven’t kept up with maintenance or any quality"
The room was too warm, no bath plug - 3 requests for a plug off staff to be ignored.
Extractor fan worked for one night, reported it said it was added to the log and didn’t work the rest of the stay. Breakfast/food still showing Brewers Fayre dispute the pub being closed down. Wasn’t overly clean. Bed wasn’t comfortable and pillows not supportive.

Me and my daughter came to stay last Friday, check in was very easy greeted by lovely staff very friendly. We was always checked upon and looked after by a lovey lady called NIkki who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to enjoy .she really is a credit to the team.i love how close the hotel is from the town and beach .we will definitely come again.

Brwakfast was ok a long wait for food items to be replenished
Evening meal was very poor
Got our order wrong 3 times
Our childs main arrived with our starter very clear there shift away from brewers fayre was a big mistake service has gone down hill

"Essentials spot on! But some very poor things to point out."
I had a cycling trip to the area for a short stay for 1 night. Car park was really good all the essentials like bed, bathroom, breakfast, TV, in room tea making facilities were really good.
But a few poor things to note was the reception was eerily quite when I checked in on a stormy night. The booking system was difficult it wouldn't scan the booking code and the key fob didn't work first time which added stress after a long journey. The room was outdated and dusty air vents and the view was terrible overlooking a scrap yard!
Must give a massive credit to the breakfast and dinning space top notch and staff very friendly which was the best bit.
A poor exit over a confusion about booking out I wasn't aware of the checking out procedure and was pressured into buying another nights stay which I wasn't happy about because I had a long journey so that was really poor.

"Give Premier Inn MINEHEAD a miss!"
Restaurant a shambles there do not eat there unless you have the whole evening to spend waiting for food!
My wife asked for a glass of wine. They had NO wine glasses so she had to have it in a half pint beer mug
No beers on draft available
It was due to NO staff.
The 2 staff, bless them were under a lot of pressure and couldnt cope, and one of them was also running the reception!!
It was a total farce
