"A typical Premier Inn - great!"
The hotel is on the edge of town with a Brewers Fayre and Tesco next door. Somehow we managed to get a message through to ask for a park side room - quieter and with a view. This Premier Inn has aircon that we see as essential as the windows can't be opened! The bed is very very comfortable but the £7 per night car parking is a rip off. Staff have obviously been paired to the bone both at the hotel and in the restaurant but the room was clean, comfortable and ideal for a good night's sleep!

Double bed had a metal spike protruding from the side, it was small enough to not notice until you brushed against it whilst getting out, scratching child’s and my legs.

Very disappointing! The hotel is run by computers! We tried to check in a little earlier at 20 to 3 pm computer says NO
Seems rather unwelcoming! Went up to our room at the end of a very long corridor and noticed the heating wasn’t on! My husband looked at instructions and tried to switch heating on to warm but computer says No! The bed only had one pillow each so we had to search for another 2! When we used the towels after our shower they smelled of sweat and this stayed with us onto our clothes!! The shower was a permanent fixture so one couldn’t shower without getting our hair wet! No shower caps supplied! Computer says No! When we returned after our evening meal there was no one around again! We tried again to get the heating to come on to no avail! It was set at 30_!!So slept in extra clothes! We managed to find the manageress next morning who was very unhelpful saying we should have found someone to complain as computers set the room on cool ! She said the heating control panel had a hidden switch that toggled between warm and cold and although we had set the temperature at 30 the heating stayed on a cool 30??!! There was nothing about this on the instructions and found this explanation quite frankly ridiculous!! What hotel sets heating on cool in March! And who wants to search a hotel at night after a supposed rest! Our daughter who booked this as a treat for our Anniversary is still waiting for a reply ! We think it’s a disgrace and are both suffering from colds and coughs because of this ridiculous computer run hotel! Please sort this out !!

one of the best premier inns I have stayed in , comfy and spotless room , helpfull team ,good value , located close to the seafront , town ,old harbour and local major supermarkets .
