Minehead hotel

Restaurant a shambles there do not eat there unless you have the whole evening to spend waiting for food! My wife asked for a glass of wine. They had NO wine glasses so she had to have it in a half pint beer mug No beers on draft available It was due to NO staff. The 2 staff, bless them were under a lot of pressure and couldnt cope, and one of them was also running the reception!! It was a total farce

Spur of the moment decided to stop and try the premier inn Minehead for breakfast was greeted and shown to a table by a very friendly, smiley tall lady called Sarah, I was well looked after and would definitely recommend… look out for her she was an absolute star

We have never stayed in a Premier inn before. The parking was easy and we were greated by a very helpful man who explained check inn and about the hotel. Our room was better than I booked as it had a bath as well as a shower. Breckfast was good value and again the staff were efficient hard working and the food was fresh and tasty. We slept well as people there was no noise and the curtains kept out the light. Visiting family locally we would book again as the location was perfect.

This Inn is very convenient to get into Minehead town centre and local retail park. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the outside of the property is not very well kept with litter and cigarette butt's strewn around the front of the building. The car parking charges are excessive within the on site car park, bearing in mind that you are staying there, and there is no on street parking close by.

We’ve always enjoyed staying here, and whilst the hotel itself has always been decent, the breakfast experience has improved massively since the hotel took over the restaurant! Brewers used to be a firm family favourite of ours, but unfortunately, we felt standards had slipped over time. We’re so pleased to see such a positive change! Everything is now kept spotlessly clean, food is replenished regularly, and everything is well looked after. The whole experience feels so much better, and we genuinely couldn’t fault it! A special shout-out to Chris, who was absolutely brilliant when it came to accommodating our son’s food allergy. He handled everything with care, confidence and absolutely no fuss, which gave us real peace of mind as parents. When you’re eating out with children who have food allergies, that level of understanding and attention makes such a difference and really deserves to be recognised. It’s the little things that make a big difference, and the team’s hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. It’s wonderful to see standards back where they should be, and we’ll definitely be looking forward to returning! Thank you to Chris and the team for making our family experience such a positive one. Excellent service, a much-improved breakfast, and a hotel restaurant that has won us back! Highly recommended. 👏
