"Not that good"
On arrival met by the road being filled with caravan dwellers which did nothing for the setting of the area. car park was quit full but manged to find a spot. Very plaeasant lady on reception that gave us all we need to know. Room was a little tired we felt agter staying in a plus room in Frome. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of items. Sorry to say but would avoid staying here agian if in the area, would probably choose to travel a little further.
"Unable to relax & poor eating experience"
The hotel/parking & staff all deserve a very good marking. However the major let downs for us were a load of ‘travellers’ very dirty/untidy caravans parked directly on the road. Apparently this was not uncommon & we should therefore have been informed about this in advance. It made us feel quite vulnerable. We used the eating facilities next door (Brewers Fayre) for evening meal & found this unacceptable. The chips were barely warm & whilst waiting for them to be replaced the overcooked burgers became warm. Stains on many chairs. We therefore decided not to book breakfast’s for our 2 day stay
"Lack of fresh air"
I can’t really fault the Premier Inn, it is as you would expect, pretty basic. But the biggest problem is that the windows don’t open allowing in an fresh air. The air conditioning unit in the room are no substitute for breathing fresh air. Both my wife and myself came away with a cold. So I would say pretty poor really.
"Our stay"
We did not have the best stay at the premiere inn. Firstly we paid for a plus room and when we entered we found that there was no shower gel or hair and body wash in the dispenser. We then noticed that there was one nespresso coffee pod and not decaf option. When I informed reception of this we were on our way out and I said I would be more than happy for them to leave these products in the room or outside the door which they seemed more than happy to do. However when we returned this issue had not been resolved which was an inconvenience to say the least as there was no one available on reception upon our return. Overall the staff were friendly but unfortunately this stay was not up to standard.
"Initial concern"
On arriving at the hotel we were surprised and a little Initial observation concerned as there were traveller type caravans parked outside the hotel. Advised by a a team member that they had been there a long time and had not caused any problems. The hotel itself is as you would expect a Premier Inn to be comfortable and with a Brewers Fayre next door for food. Staff were friendly.
