"All told, an excellent experiemce."
We often stay in Premier Inns. This one was as expected. Usually we try to choose Premier Plus rooms, but since we had a grandchild with us, we had to have an ordinary family room. It was fine. Staff were friendly and efficient. We also had dinner and breakfast in the Brewers Fayre next door. Very friendly staff again, and the food was as expected. We'd go so far as to say the breakfast was even better than sometimes. All told, an excellent experience.
"OK Hotel But Area is Scruffy."
Staff were nice and efficient. The hotel is clean and comfortable but the room was looking a tiny bit shabby (probably getting old). However the road it is on has many dilapidated caravans parked up and a fair amount of rubbish. The old Zig-Zag factory down the road is an eyesore too. None of this is Premier Inn's fault but it makes the location look 'dodgy.'
"Large hotel so very noisy, room tired, perimeter of hotel lined with old caravans with people in, right by carpark"
Tired, large hotel, very noisy, the ceiling lights in our room were vibrating from the noise from upstairs, caravans outside but disconcerting
"Grubby and not welcoming …"
I had stayed in this hotel a few years back and must have hit lucky as it was a great room and experience sadly on this occasion it was far from that . The bathroom was dirty and once I mustered up enough courage to use it , I found no toiletries to use in it , the bottle was empty ? I hope the shower heads are being cleaned so spread of legionaries doesn’t happen ? Double bed ? Is that still a thing ? As an ex mystery shopper i would mark the hospitality down too . Who doesn’t like service with a smile ? No warmth or soul in this place , a massive let down from past times of happy times spent here . I use premiers regularly for business and leisure sure but will go somewhere else in Glastonbury on my next visit in October . One saving grace a beautiful lady that cleared the tables in the restaurant area at breakfast , so polite and so welcoming … at last service with a smile and she needs complimenting . I would have given her an on spot voucher if I had done a mystery shop.
"Glastonbury stay"
The bed was so hard The quilt cover had holes in it The soap dispenser in the bathroom was alm rusty and the bathroom floor had all rust marks on it No luxury it’s not even that cheap to stay in premier inns anymore The location was good for the town centre but outside at the car park there is all caravans that look like homeless people live in them, staff was quite rude
