"OK if you cannot find anything better"
The Glastonbury Premier Inn is in an ugly area of decaying business buildings. Old caravans parked outside. Reception is available to those who press a buzzer and wait. Expensive for what it is - a largeish room, good bed, no drawers or storage, inadequate lighting, almost silent tv set, but good shower. Despite a request, our room was not made up between the two days of our stay. Food OK in the Brewers' Fayre
"Great stay."
Really clean place. Staff were friendly. The on site pub was great friendly staff and customers. My only complaint is the pillows were hard and the air-conditioning only went down to 19 degrees which meant the room was stuffy. But other than that. Was a great stay. Thanks guys
"As you pull up you definitely feel you should turn round and drive away!"
The broken down new age travelled caravans, derelict industrial estate and view of the water treatment works do not give the welcoming vibe you want from a night away. We were reassured by reception (they were lovely ladies) that the caravan dwellers kept themselves to themselves, they were just very unsightly. The hotel is shabby, it’s not dirty but really tired and the rooms are unwelcoming. Our bathroom was something straight out of a care room and the bed so high that you couldn’t sit on the side of it! The lighting was awful, not one configuration gave enough light to do make up or read. The window was sealed, not a problem but our aircon only stayed on for an hour before turning off, the bathroom vent pumped bathroom air into the bedroom, much stronger than the actual aircon flow. The door to the landing was directly outside our room, it seemed that any door opening anywhere in the hotel caused the door to slightly open and close, we had a ‘pherrwhomp’ noise all night. Breakfast at the Brewers Fayre was good value, it’s a short walk to Glastonbury but seriously find somewhere else to stay!
"Good located hotel"
The hotel was easy to find & not far from the town. The room was quiet, clean & had good facilities. The staff were very helpful & friendly.
"Great week visit Glastonbury Extravaganza"
Great stay Clean rooms No traffic noise and we had a room by the road Great breakfast Had a great nights sleep Great location as we went to Glastonbury Extravaganza so left the car at the hotel and caught the bus. Nice and easy Only negative which has nothing to do with the hotel are the traveller caravans around the area The council really need to deal with this
