"Hot noisy want to go home!"
Ground floor rooms are mouldy so bad that we couldn’t stay in our room due to it triggering my asthma very badly, first floor was very hot with minimal air con that we had to ask reception to operate for us, we were unable to turn it on or off ourselves, no sound proofing the floor above was constantly creaking and booming with people walking above it sounded like they were stamping and it makes cracking sounds and the metal vents in our room shake when they walk around! So after having a bad chest and a headache from the heat I was desperate to go home asap. The woman at check in in the afternoon was so kind, but the 2 ladies on for the evening weren’t so approachable which made it difficult to feel able to ask for further assistance with the issues we had unfortunately.
"Filthy more filthy and desperate need of refurbishment"
Oh my, probably the filthiest hotel we have ever stayed in!! I can’t believe that Premier Inn do not have spot checks on their hotels? Please look at the photos, we arrived at around half 10 at night and promptly left around 6am, we dare not eat anything there.
"Nightmare, mould, food under bed and more!"
I;m still in shock about my premier inn experience, everything I’m posting is backed up with photographic proof. The room had stale food in the room not cleaned up. Thick dust everywhere which the A/C blows about leaving unable to sleep or be in the room. Windows are sealed shut with a “guarantee” of constant air being blown in, however the A/C switches itself off about every 10 minutes which made night times unbareable and not able to sleep. The bed, sheets, pillows were all filthy on arrival and not changed when requested. THERE IS MOLD ALL OVER THE WINDOWS AND CURTAIN!!!! We complained throughout our stay and told to contact head office and mention the good night guarantee, we were assured we would get a full refund, staff could not do anything to fix, particularly the mould and broken A/C. Well, we were not given a refund, there was little to and fro where Premier Inn stated this is within their standard (SUCH AS MOULD ON THE WINDOW!!), we mentioned the Good night guarantee and no reply. It’s been over 2 months and they are not replying to emails now, so they have gone against their own policy, they’re happy with such a disgusting standard of room and will not be sorting their mould and A/C problem. Whilst staff on site were friendly and nothing they could do, it's been a horrible experience trying to deal with this with head office (after being recommended by on site staff to contact head office)
"Premier Plus!!"
Have stayed at many Premier Inns over the years and Glastonbury is fine. Staff are helpful and friendly as usual. The issue we have though is that we chose to upgrade to Premier Plus the day before our 4 day stay. This was prompted by an email suggesting that for only £15 we could upgrade to Plus. We realised it would be £15 per night not just in total but thought it would be nice to have a bit extra. Shouldn’t have bothered! Mini fridge with complimentary bottled water…ok, useful..tick King size bed…same as in other rooms, in fact very firm and not very comfy. Flat screen TV.. yes…maybe 3/4 inches wider than normal rooms but didn’t watch telly. Coffee machine…ok if you like Nespresso Complimentary snacks… 2 teeny tiny 2 nibble choc bars. Armchair…stated as comfortable but not, and there’s usually some form of seating in standard rooms anyway. Rainfall shower.. which was good. So apart from the mini fridge and the shower didn’t get much for our extra £15 per night. You live and learn!
"Glastonbury Premiere Inn"
Great welcome from staff. Very easy and quick check in. Very quiet rooms. Clean rooms. Spacious. Lots of parking. Had a very deep sleep. The room temperature when you got used to how to work the controls was comfortable- the windows don’t open. Next door is a restaurant which offers good quality food. If you’re looking to stay in Glastonbury I’d recommend
