Frome hotel

Had 2 nites of broken sleep due to cars outside of hotel(speeding up and down in industrial estate) not within hotels control we know, but staff are aware of this but do not inform guests when arriving at reception! Why is it not stipulated when booking for stays on thier website? Maybe because it would deter people from staying and obvious financial loss to them. We contacted guest relations and were not offered anything(even a small goodwill payment would of sufficed in principal) under thier so called (good nite gaurantee) so stay at (frome) premier inn and get a good nites rest, well we didn't! Won't be staying thier again as we cannot go through that again, and we have stayed thier over last 20 years when we needed to... We are upset with the approach from customer relations more than any thing else, and this stay was not at so called budget hotel prices either and was definetly not cheap.... Windows were open in rooms due to the heat and so we had to close them...

We booked a premier plus room, which I think is always worth it! Check in was really easy on the machines. The room was clean with good facilities. We ate at the restaurant which wasn't great. Breakfast was good but did involve a very long wait for the coffee machine.

Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights for our visit to Longleat safari park Overall the premier in was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly we had a bit of a minor issue with the room and a member of staff came and sorted it out and put the duvet on our bed as I struggle with fibromyalgia . The staff in the restaurant were amazing too due to a food allergy the chef managed to find an ingredient in the bbq sauce which would not have realised was in it so I was not able to have it and also due to my fibromyalgia causing me my hands to just loose grip I ended up dropping my glass and my drink went everywhere but the staff were lovely and not making me feel awkward

We checked in with the kiosk machine and validated two keycards. Neither worked on the door so we had to traipse back down to reception to get them redone. The room was unbearably hot. Breakfast on day 1 was akin to Fawlty Towers. I was convinced it was a social experiment with hidden cameras it was so abysmal. Granola, fruit, breakfast items woefully left unreplenished. We asked for granola, they couldn’t find the bag. We asked for poached eggs, they said they had broken the poaching machine. We asked for vegan sausages, they brought us four sticks of rock…..clearly fried straight from frozen. Utterly bizarre. I filmed them. The worst breakfast at a Premier Inn I’ve had in 46 years.

Family plus room had no aircon. Food at the beefeater was expensive and of poor quality. Food service ended at 8:30.. and they were waiting for you to finish at 9 so they could go home.
