Frome hotel

All good from me I knew that the restaurant and bar would be shut so I bought food and beers with me, my room is lovely, it the bed is comfortable, it's warm, I had a fantastic hot bath,I could park the car easily, lovely lady on reception ,I could have my room from 11 o'clock by paying a bit extra , the only thing I noticed was the room could do with a bit more dusting there was dust on the skirting boards and on the bedside tables but nothing much. It's fine for just one night.

Needs a refresh, especially the shower room I stayed at Premier Inn Frome and have mixed feelings. The room itself was warm and comfortable enough, and the bed did its job. The cleanliness, though, let it down. There was black mould in the shower room, which is not what you expect from a chain with Premier Inn's reputation. The room generally felt like it needed a deeper clean. The restaurant was closed for renovation during our stay. I hope the bedrooms are next on the list, because they could do with the same attention. A bag of spare bedding had also been left in the middle of the room. We ended up kicking it under the bed just to have some space. Warm and functional, but the standard of cleanliness needs to improve. I'd stay again only if the rooms get the same renovation the restaurant is getting.

Premier Inn used to be a brand with no frills but where you’d get a clean, comfortable room at reasonable cost. Sadly we’ve recently stayed in a few which are really bringing the brand down, and Frome is one of those. Whilst check-in was friendly, we were forced to wait the 15 minutes before 3 otherwise we’d be charged for an early check in (for the sake of 15 mins when the room is ready?!). Then at the designated time one of the rooms wasn’t assigned to our booking despite being booked. The rooms themselves did not feel clean, they had an odd smell, and felt run down and in need of a revamp. The bathroom had mould and stains, and the hallway outside desperately needed a hoover. Breakfast was fine, although the cooked breakfast wasn’t particularly hot. Premier Inn need to up their game otherwise they’ll be lumped into the same bucket as Travelodge.

Convenient location but for the only hotel in Frome it is low quality for a standard budget hotel come here only hotel like I sayed and this is my story: I was arrived by a leafy foyer leafs harmless to me but a bit dirty having leafs was greeted by a screen where people that don't know how to use tech got a convenient card that you slide to get into my room I had to fiddle it around to get lights on. Has a 1990s fan and possible sick on inner blinds shower broken and beds uncomfortable the room nice but very dirty the breakfast had no butter but sayed shutting tomorrow don't think that's true sausages and bacon was raw and I got poisoning and the scrambled egg was eggy and that means white and yellow bit separated not well. Beefeater/bar was shut that was disappointing do come but know its rubbish I forgot to say that the breakfast was small and cramped and long walks to room

Absolutely awful place, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the first room we booked smelled terrible and the second wasn’t much better, rubbish left in the corridors and more leafs and mud inside that out. Due yourself a favour and sleep in the skip in the car park
