"Close to Longleat"
Our family of 9 stayed at Premier Inn Frome for 2 nights in a Premier Plus and 2 family rooms. The Plus room was impressive, very cool, clean and we had comfortable nights sleep. The family rooms were spacious but 1 was over the front bar area so a bit noisy for the children to sleep and the bathroom especially, not clean.  Both family rooms were very hot even with the hotel fan on, but having previously read in the hotel description there is no aircon we had taken our own fans as extra in preparation for the hot weekend.  The breakfasts in the Beefeater were good and the staff were pleasant, accommodating and hardworking.  It was an easy drive to Longleat. Overall we had a great weekend.
"Be aware No Air Conditioning"
Beware this hotel does not have Aircon on one of the hottest days of the year we were given a fan. When put on the coldest it blew out dust. I booked three rooms for family at a cost of £441 for a trip to Longleat. We all had problems with water pressure which we reported on leaving. The staff were lovely. When we checked in we were told we may not get breakfast as they hadn’t had a delivery. However breakfast was lovely they had had their delivery miscommunication somewhere.
"Hot 🥵"
Feeling hot hot hot! As you can see if you want the family room prepare to sweat! No air con just a fan blowing around hot air and no window to fully open. We didn’t have any bedding on the beds, and when we found blankets under the bed the double was covered in urine. Not ours! A complaint to reception and they were switched but by this point sleeping in the car felt cleaner. Shame as the pub under altho basic isn’t bad, it’s near the safari, easy drives but it needs an over haul in cleanness’s and modernization. Staff friendly and trying their hardest. 2/5
"Got no sleep whatsoever"
Extremely un happy with our stay. Hottest day of the year. No air conditioning, just a fan. Window only only a few inches, which I totally get the safety aspect of that. Had to wedge a bin in the door to get a little through air, which impaired our safety. We had dinner in the Beefeater, which was freezing, they had air conditioning. We went back up to our room round 7.30, to get some rest as Longleat the next day. From 8pm we endured people laughing, screaming and totally unsettling noise as our 'family room' was directly over the pub outside seating area. We tried to sleep from 9.30pm but was totally shocked as a lot of men were using really bad language!! We had two children, hence in the 'Family Room' The language was disgusting. We would have complained then, but we were not prepared to change rooms at that time of the evening. We didnt get any sleep what so ever!! When the noise, langauge did calm it was almost midnight. Having to keep the window open, due to excessive heat, were were yet again woken by a thunder storm. When we checked out, there was no one at reception to relay our frustration of absolutely no sleep and having to endure bad language. We cut our visit short as we were so tired having no sleep. Why, why, why...put a family room over the outside seating area of the pub. !!??
"No sleep"
No air con, tiny fan that did nothing. Room with 4 of us in was so hot we couldn't settle. Staff nowhere when needed to complain. Food good in beefeater but overall poor experience.
