"Last time"
With no available parking spaces on site and staff who would or could not advise on where else to park, I decided that I couldn't stay at the hotel. The area is surrounded by private parking areas and threats of fines for non-compliance, but Premier Inn are not interested in helping their guests resolve this. It's also a down market hotel, needing refurbishment and it certainly doesn't not look like it does in the pictures. If price is your main consideration, you may want to take the risk. I was not eligible for a refund, but no compromise was offered by 'customer relations' who were keen to quote statements on their site like 'limited' parking rather than try to resolve my grievance.
"Brilliant staff"
So traveling down to Plymouth our car broke down so had to book at the premier in for the night the guy on reception sorry didn't get his name was very helpful and accommodating,got us a room this morning the lady on reception Sarah was so helpful to us from giving us advise to how to reach our destination as having to leave the car she was kind friendly and very helpful to us Sarah your an absolute star we both thank you so much you made a stressful situation more bearable with all you help thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Great service, comfort, cleanliness, copious amounts of hot water, spacious room. We always enjoy staying in Premier Inns and this was no exception.

The outside of hotel strewn with litter ,only outside eating area 1 old picnic bench stood on decking that was a trip hazard.restaurant was only open at very restricted times.reception carpet unclean receptionist spent as much time serving in eatery as she did on reception due to being short staffed even though it was Glastonbury festival week.we paid extra to check in early and were given room 210 which was up stairs no lift so had to climb 30 stairs not so good when your in your mid 70s.got into the room to find a upright electric fan which was in a state of needing replacement as the back of motor was falling of.the room temperature was mid 30s unbearable window could only open 2 inches for health an safety reasons(on the top floor) took a carton of long life milk with us on Saturday it was currdled by Sunday morning.complained at reception and was given head office number to ring .rang head office voiced all above complaints and asked about the guaranteed good night's sleep I was told to read terms and conditions which says if no air con on site they cannot control heat and apologised that was all they could do.we have stayed at different premiere across the country but Bridgewater North is defiantly one to avoid at all cost and customer services should be ashamed
"Too many issues, won’t stay again."
Stayed here for two nights for a family birthday, can honestly say we won’t be staying again. Paid £130 for a boiling hot room with no air con just a little fan in the room that was just moving the hot air around. Can honestly say it’s the worst two nights we’ve had with our nearly 9 months old baby who just couldn’t settle because it was far too warm. Couldn’t change rooms as fully booked. Then that brings me to the parking, with the renovation going on with the restaurant next door there is a maximum of 20 car parking spaces for a fully booked hotel. We felt very sorry for the receptionist on the Friday night who had several people complaining as they had no where to park, he was already an hour over his shift finishing just trying to park people, we ended up being put into a disabled slot with my sister in law parked next to us just to get us in. Other people were being parked on pavements and grass verges. If we had known these renovations were going to happen we wouldn’t of booked this premier, had an email a couple of weeks before our stay to say we get a complimentary breakfast due to the works but no offer of a refund to cancel our booking if we wanted to. The complimentary breakfast was another issue, went down at 8am there were two very unripe bananas, one croissant and a handful of apples. It wasn’t until we asked if there was anymore that the receptionist decided to refill it all. To say we are disappointed is an understatement, it’s a lot of money to spend to stay somewhere that in the end had so many issues and no resolution to anything. I think if they know works are going to be taking place this should be advertised before a booking is taken.
