Bridgwater North (A38) hotel

I had dirty bed sheets. We also payed for the meal deal to get to the hotel and then be told the only available time to eat would be between 21.00 - 21.30 at night. I would avoid at all costs

Stay here once a week for business - usually Shannon at reception always happy, smiling and willing to help.

A lovely premier inn, close to local attractions such as cheddar gorge. Free parking and an on site restaurant. Also very close / walking distance to restaurants such as subway, greggs, mcdonald's and a petrol station. Very short drive a way to other local family run pubs, We visited as a family of four, the room was clean, comfortable and usual premier inn standard. The reception and all the staff were lovely and resolved an issue we had upon arrival.

Ticks all the boxes of a premier inn, but staff make the difference.

We’ve often stayed in this hotel as a half way stop on our way to Cornwall. Unfortunately it’s becoming steadily poorer. The rooms are standard Premier Inn style and comfortable enough if a little tired. The staff are friendly but it seems to be staffed exclusively by very young teenagers. The biggest disappointment is the supposedly refurbed bar/restaurant. It’s about a third of the size it was previously and resembles a waiting room. It’s soulless and echoey. The staff seemed to be struggling to keep on top of the food orders despite there being hardly anyone in, music played annoyingly quietly.. either play it or don’t. Probably won’t return.
