"Good hotel & location to break a long drive up"
Stayed here to break our drive up to Cornwall. Good location. New hotel it seems. Clean hotel. No reception desk as such mainly self check in screens to use. Asked if we could eat in the restaurant at around 6pm ish as it was pretty empty, as we hadn’t booked was told it was full till 9pm despite it being empty. Went to the pub over the road which was closing the kitchen at 7 so couldn’t eat there, went further down the road to a pub called the compass. Returned at half 7 to the premier inn to the restaurant still being empty. Thought it was pretty disappointing that we couldn’t eat there. Had requested travel cot and single bed which was made up on arrival, spacious enough room and clean. Breakfast in the morning was nice, don’t know how they keep tabs on who has paid etc as no one mans the front to seat you at the table, we had paid prior to arrival but no one checked so I guess you could chance it. Plenty of choice to choose from hot and cold food. Would stay here again if in the area.
      "Great overnight stay"
Second time we have stopped overnight at this hotel on our way to Cornwall. Had a very enjoyable stay and staff , room , and breakfast were excellent. Evening meal was ok but nothing special. Will stop again next year!
"Poor attitude and no help to rectify a genuine oversight"
Air conditioning , Friendly service staff, terrible information on the website , check the small print carefully , parking restrictions not made clear until small print near the bottom " Flex " booking doesn't protect you at all
      "Great stay, helpful staff"
Had a 1 night stay in 2 interconnecting rooms which the staff were very helpful over the phone in ensuring these were allocated for us. Self check in is easy but there was a member of staff on hand to help if needed. Rooms clean and comfortable as usual and the air con was very efficient, had to turn it off overnight as the room was so cool. Some noise from the road outside but wasn't a problem. No need to book breakfast and staff were doing an amazing job of getting everyone seated as they arrived. Kids love the buffet and we love that they eat free :-) Would definitely recommend for a M5 pit stop.
"One of the best Premier Inns, fab aircon"
This is modern premier in with a restaurant attached. Reasonably priced I liked: Lots of free parking Close to the m5 Fantastic aircon- possibly the best I’ve had outside the USA, very welcome on a hot summers night Good food at dinner and breakfast Staff were friendly
