Bridgwater Gateway (M5, J24) hotel

The staff were pleasant to our faces, but problems weren't dealt with. The windows don't open & the air con seems faulty. Our room absolutely stank to high heaven. We left the air con on and the smell cleared quite a bit. There didn't seem to be any fresh air coming in except via the bathroom fan. We didn't sleep very well as it was unpleasant, stuffy and too hot. The TV remote didn't work properly. Although we reported these things nothing was done. The breakfast on Saturday morning was stone cold.

All the staff are brillant first time at the premier inn will be going back I have came with family and we have 3 rooms all clean even the handy man came to do our dvd player as we could not get to the hdmi cable so we could watch our DVDs as I don’t do tv brillant service from thw ladies cleaning the rooms to reception well done all

We’ve stayed here before on few occasions and use it on halfway stopover between home and Cornwall everything was as it always is room comfortable staff friendly booking in was a bit different very thorough where normally they look up your name I had to show my confirmation where Bridgwater north they never asked for anything the same the week before, Evening meal and breakfast were ok friendly service from staff but was a bit spoiled by a very over the top waitress at breakfast who stopped me from taking in my own milk because it didn’t Conform to regulations but it was in exactly same container that the milk in restaurant came out of only wanted to use it up save taking it home then proceeded to try to do the same with the coffee which was Nescafé exact the same as what they use I just said it was from the room bit over the top for me unfortunately

Caught with a bit of heat exhaustion visiting themeparks I managed to book the last room at the Premier Inn. At reception I was greated by a helpful member of staff whom booked me in, added breakfast for the morning and explained the room was their accessible room with a lower bed and larger wetroom. The room was clean, bed comfortable and washroom "huge". The key benefit was the AC! Finally able to cool down. After a great nights sleep breakfast was the usual quality fayre expected at Premier Inn however it was a busy breakfast so there was delays on cooked breakfast items.

Stayed on the 15th August for one night. Met by Gail who helped us book in made to feel very welcome. Dinner that evening was lovely and even though all the staff were busy we were not kept waiting. All the staff were very helpful and made time for a chat which we appreciated. Breakfast on the Sunday again was very busy but we didn’t wait long, Gail and other staff members all very friendly. A very good experience of a Premier Inn and its staff.
