Bridgwater Gateway (M5, J24) hotel

very friendly customer service staff. Delicious evening dinner…. am looking forward to breakfast time… Bedrooms very comfortable and temperature of room was lovely..

Stayed here 23rd and 24th June 2026 during the heatwave. Pleasant room with lovely views of the hills in the distance. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice great and evening meal choices were good. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you 😊

Nice premier inn stay. Travel cot was all set up ready for us, comfy, clean room. Really nice breakfast and friendly staff too

Booked into a premier plus room, which was one of our better decisions. It was obviously virtually brand new, with excellent decor and facilities. We only had breakfast at restaurant, but it was one of the most appetising and tasting breakfasts I have had at a Premier Inn.

Despite the friendly staff and clean room, my stay was utterly ruined by the long wait for my evening meal. It was explained that there would be a delay when I came into the restaurant, but it was not made clear that I would wait for over an hour for my meal. Apparently the kitchen could not cope with a family of 8 which arrived just before me. Unfortunately the parents did very little to control the young ones who ran around the whole the restaurant as if it was some kind of amusement park. There was no intervention from the staff and of course, if I had gone over to say something, you can imagine what reaction I might have received! As I am a regular traveller and use Premier Inn when I can, I was hopeful that the team at Whitbreads would perhaps offer a meal voucher for my next stay as some kind of compensation. As I was complimentary about the other aspects of my stay, they flatly refused my request which is disappointing but not unexpected as clearly profit outweighs occupancy rate.
