"Really good staff, but glitchy booking-in"
I'd booked a double room for myself for one night, yet I couldn't book in on the app beforehand because it kept asking for details of a non-existent second person. Once at the hotel (and had eventually found the entrance), It took very many attempts for the booking-in point to read my QR code which was irritating. A member of staff had to assist with my booking in because the system couldn't accept a single person booking in to a double room. I was given an accessible room (I didn’t request one) because the online booking presented it as a default. This meant that the bathroom was unusually large and had the full array of accessible fittings; the bedroom had an emergency button on a cord. It’s good to know these provisions exist, but an ordinary double room would have been quite sufficient. From the mug rings and other marks on the circular bedside table nearer to the bathroom (see attached pictures), it hadn’t been cleaned - let alone polished. This was unacceptable and unhygienic. On departure, the car park's vehicle-validation screen in the lobby wasn't showing the correct page; I had to ring for member of staff to come and rectify the fault. On the plus side, the lobby and restaurant staff were all courteous and helpful.

"Terrible experience."
Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. The parking situation was confusing and quite far from the hotel. Although it stated that parking was available at the hotel, we had to park elsewhere and walk around five minutes with all of our belongings, which was particularly inconvenient.
The location itself was convenient, with plenty of food options and amenities nearby, as the hotel is close to the town centre. However, this was overshadowed by the issues we experienced during our stay.
Due to the chaos surrounding the room allocations and the hotel overbooking one of our rooms, we were left dealing with the situation for hours. As a result, we only managed around one hour of sleep before having to get up and leave. We had paid for the room and expected to be able to use it properly, so the experience was an absolute waste of money.
The room and hotel were also not as clean as expected, and the internet/Wi-Fi service was extremely poor. Overall, the service was terrible, the organisation was very poor, and the overbooking situation was handled badly.
Given that we paid £76 for a room that was not available to us and the significant disruption this caused, I fully expect a refund for the overbooked room. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

"Perfect for a short stay"
Great location being in the centre of Telford so close to the shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Cheap price for a one night stay and had free breakfast included.
Room was comfortable and quiet with working air conditioning

"Premier Inn Telford International"
Is this had been our first experience with Premier Inn, we would never use them again. Our recent experience in early July at PI Caernarfon was superb. For anyone with mobility issues its worth noting that there is no onsite parking, due to hotel being in a pedestrian location. Parking is in 'nearby' multi storey or a patch of grass nearer that accommodates about 10 cars and is full constantly. Lots of nice restaurants around a lake. Reception is on a different level than the one you enter, needing a lift. The very friendly & helpful girl on reception seemed to be doing a 100 jobs = in the restaurant/carrying towels/booking in - all done on the tiniest desk, blink and you could miss it. She was doing other things so took us all a while to book in. The corridors were extremely smelly, like dirty wet cloths and the air conditioning in our room sounded like a plane taking off - so pleased we were only staying one night. Beds were the usual high comfort & it was good to relax in the bath at the end of the day. No one to be seen when checking out

"Good Premier Inn, poor parking arrangements."
The room was a normal PI room, comfortable bed, clean with a good shower etc.
Breakfast was excellent - special thanks should go to the very friendly helpful staff member "in charge" of breakfasts during our visit (8/12 June).
You park in a "nearby" multi storey car park, with a discounted rate for PI guests. The only problem was that because of road closures we found it very difficult to actually get to the specified car park - maybe a map would be helpful !!
