Simple place and gets the job done. Great for business / work trips where for the low price, you get a very decent quality and comfortable environment.

We were very disappointed with our stay. From the moment we entered the family room, there was a strong smell of sick/vomit that was noticeable throughout the room and made it quite unpleasant to spend time in. While the room appeared generally clean, the odour was overwhelming and suggested that the carpets or soft furnishings were in need of a much deeper clean. We were staying overnight with our children, so it was disappointing to find such a noticeable smell. We arrived late at night, reported the smell to reception as soon as we got to the room, however there was nothing they could do other than bring up a small fan. You can’t open the windows in the room either so there was very little we could do to make the situation better. The staff were polite and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. However, the persistent smell significantly affected our stay and made it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, it spoiled what should have been a straightforward overnight stay. I hope management addresses this issue for future guests. I have logged this with Premier Inn immediately after the stay which was 8 days ago but haven’t had a response.

Family of 4x, ideal location for our needs (Teens had a driving experience in Shrewsbury and we were heading to North Wales the following day). Great checkin and quiet location, helpful and friendly staff. Room - the air-con was barely noticeable, the room was smaller than other family room Premier Inns we have stayed in - all the beds were wedged close together, and there were not enough sockets next to the beds. As always comfortable beds, nice sheets/duvet and we enjoyed the shower, bath and my daughter loved the makeup mirror! Not enough towels for a family of 4 but you can request more. Beefeater - we all enjoyed the breakfast lots to choose from but the evening meal was just ok. The quality of the food was poor and therefore not good value for money. We would stay again (nicer location than Oswestry Premier Inn and convenient for our on route visit to North Wales) but this is our last family room and the quality of the food in the Beefeater would need improve to choose there again for an evening meal.

This location was perfect for a few days exploring the area. So much to do, didn't have to use the car as everything what we wanted to do was within walking distance. Room was clean, a double bed and single as I was travelling with 2 children this was fine. Plenty of room, clean bedding and towels. Corridors kept tidy and the cleaners were always busy with rooms. Validated our car reg in reception and only paid £3 for the 3 nights we were parked. Even though it was lively outside, there was no noise heard from the room, we had a lovely view of the bin area at the back of nandos but didn't bother us at all.
