Shrewsbury Town Centre hotel

Ideal location, very handy for theatre Severn and shopping. Staff are polite and helpful and there is everything you need. Comfy beds, a great night's sleep.

I stayed at the hotel for just one night, when attending an evening concert in Shrewsbury. It was a normal Premier Inn hotel, claean and with a comfortable bed. I had let the hotel know that I have an arthritic knee and was allocated a ground-floor room with wet room. Access to the main entrance is possible by ramp. Travelling light, with only minimum luggage for one night, my only electronic device was my phone. I had taken a USB cable, expecting a port in the room from which I could charge the phone, which contained my return train ticket. The phone just about lasted, but I would hope that USB ports will be supplied in the next refurb.

The hotel is situated in a good location for the town and to see a show in the Theatre on the other side of the bridge. I had been assisted at reception by the kind members of staff to help me with my booking. I had been given a room overlooking the bus station. The room had been cosy and it had been nice place to stay for the night. There had been no disturbances from other people staying at the hotel. The breakfast had been delicious and all cooked perfectly. A nice selection of things to eat and drink in the restaurant at breakfast. The staff were helpful with providing me with cutlery and condiments. They provided me with much needed information of when they were closing the buffet. Checking out of the hotel was simple and easy. Ring for assistance by pressing a switch at reception for assistance to give the key back at reception and a staff member came to the desk quickly.

I think this hotel needs updating, but saying that a little t and c would help 🤔
