Shrewsbury Town Centre hotel

Sitting in one of the coldest rooms ever, turn the heating up just blows cold air, this place needs some kind of electric heater in the room.

Hotel was cold, no heating even though I asked the management on checking in to turn on, or up the air conditioning/ heating. Our bedroom No 8 was freezing cold and I contacted customer services and all they said we'll pass on your comments to the maintenance department.

Hotel looks a mess from outside and it gets even worse inside. Needs a good clean and a lick of paint. Our room was shabby with holes in the table and the wall, the air con has water dripping out of it, there were suspicious white stains on the sofa bed, the bath panel is damaged and there was only one power socket that was actually working. The car park is ok if you drive a tiny car, otherwise don’t bother. Food was ok, staff were good mostly. Lifts didn’t work on the day we checked out and staff couldn’t be bothered to notify customers, just let them stand waiting for a lift that was never gonna arrive. This hotel was once one of the best we have stayed at but is sadly now one of the worst.

Had a lovely stay in a Premier Plus room (upgrade). The hotel is very convenient for the railway station and town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room, as always with PInn, clean and I did like the touch of original paintings on the wall. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there.

The stay was ok but the condition of the actual Premiere Inn from the outside is a disgrace probably one of worst conditions I’ve come across when I have stayed in several other Premier Inns it looks like it’s never been cleaned up or tidied for years actually put me off staying there I hope you read this comment and start to look at your premises give it a good clean up
