Shrewsbury Town Centre hotel

Great 3 night stay over the Food Festival weekend. Staff friendly and hotel quiet. Stayed in a Prem Plus room which overlooks the river. Initial room (416) had a problem with the Air conditioning ( room was 30c ) within a couple of hours we were relocated along the corridor and room was perfect. Big thanks to Nathan , who handled everything for us , even making sure a complementary breakfast was arranged and he checked this in his own time , off duty !! Excellent. Thanks Nathan.

Managed to get a late booking in here on the way to london, Hotel was good staff were excellent, there seemed to be a large group of students staying but that was fine and didnt impact my stay, breakfast was busy but the buffet was always topped up, generally a decent nights stay in a hotel with air con, a few good pubs down the road for a few beers helped in the hot weather.

This is our 2nd stay and won’t be our last. We like premier inn as you know what to expect. All the staff are friendly and great breakfast. Great location close to everything, short walk from train station. When you go try the Curry House the good is amazing.

Ideal location, very handy for theatre Severn and shopping. Staff are polite and helpful and there is everything you need. Comfy beds, a great night's sleep.

I stayed at the hotel for just one night, when attending an evening concert in Shrewsbury. It was a normal Premier Inn hotel, claean and with a comfortable bed. I had let the hotel know that I have an arthritic knee and was allocated a ground-floor room with wet room. Access to the main entrance is possible by ramp. Travelling light, with only minimum luggage for one night, my only electronic device was my phone. I had taken a USB cable, expecting a port in the room from which I could charge the phone, which contained my return train ticket. The phone just about lasted, but I would hope that USB ports will be supplied in the next refurb.
