Shrewsbury North (Harmer Hill) hotel

Had a really nice stay here and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag, though, and at times it felt like no one really noticed whether guests were there or not. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 is that I went to the vending machine in the middle of the night and found the lady on reception asleep in the chair. I did my best not to wake her, but it didn’t give me a great feeling of security knowing reception wasn’t being monitored. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay

This is one of the best Inns we have stayed in. Everything was great, very friendly staff, made us welcome. Our evening meal was fabulous , did praise the chef! Breakfast was good. Our room was fab, quiet overlooking back fields. Clean & fresh. A really comfy bed…we have purchased one of their mattresses for home!

I’ve been staying in this branch of premier inn for around 6 weeks. The hotel is great and the breakfast is good. However, I feel an honourable mention to Uzma is needed. Myself and all of my colleagues talk about how friendly, welcoming and kind Uzma is. We often work long days and when we return to the hotel, often late at night, we are always met with a warm smile. Uzma is there if we fancy a chat at the end of the day or if we need anything. She’s an absolute credit to Premier Inn and a big reason why we return week after week to this same hotel.

I had to stay in Shrewsbury to complete some family business and found this Premier Inn by chance. Situated in a lovely, quiet and rural location it proved to be a comfortable and friendly place to stay offering good value and professional service. Staff, particularly the reception staff, were friendly and very helpful and the quality of the food in the Bridgewater Arms was good. Rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. Even though we were experiencing a heatwave at the time of my stay the room was kept cool by an efficient and controllable air conditioning service. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
