"Medioke"
Pro's and cons really. Start with the Pros the bed was clean and very comfortable. Room has everything you needed, however not enough tea or coffee but wasn't an issue as just bought some. Ideal location for what we needed. Staff were friendly on the whole with occasional slip from the restaurant staff. Now to the cons I've stayed at many premiere inns before but this hotel did seem to lack attention to detail unfortunately. It was a little tired, paint work peeling off in the bathroom. Hairs all over the bathroom to a point where I went to buy products to clean it. And some cleanliness issues with the carpet. It had been hoovered and smelt clean but bits were missed. The lady in the restaurant on a first morning visit was quite dismissive. The breakfast although offering a good selection was not up to the standard of other premiere inns. Hot food was luke warm at best and only just passed as cooked. Advertised boiled eggs on the menu and the chef was quite rude with the reply when asked. However I will say it was marginally better the following morning. So all in all this stay was not up to the standard of other stays. That being said if these issues were addressed I would probably return as the location is ideal.

"Best premier inn so far"
This is by far the best premier inn I’ve stayed in. New restaurant set up. Food has been excellent. Want to say a big thank you to Lean, Alfie,Kensie,Jess (kitchen) & George. Sorry if i missed anyone. Great job guys and girls a credit to the premier inn group.

"Staff on top of their game."
I paid extra for a larger room and it was worth every penny.
The Aircon was nice and cool. The two staff members in the breakfast room Alfie and Andrea were really on top of their game, with nothing too much trouble for them.
I will make a point of coming here again.

"Thank you"
Great location when we visit Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall.
Days were hot so air conditioned rooms make wanted atmosphere after all day drive. Thank you for HSK team for clean rooms.
Huge thank you for Lea for dinner service, she went extra mile for all customers on evening 25/05. Lea and her male colleague together with one chef in the kitchen go above and beyond to make all guest happy. Service with a smile 🙂 thank you from rooms 217 and 219

"Not as good as before with improvements required, especially the new dining areas."
we were a group of 12 so parking an important aspect, that is very good.
Seems the overall quality of stay has gone down with cost sutting measures. ie room serviving only done on request.
It is clear to see the sole staff member struggling to cope with check in numbers, serving drinks etc, just 2 people to serve the whole reatuarant and bar when full is a joke and not fair on them or the customer.
The rooms are not cleaned on a multi night stay unless requested.
The shower seems to lack any power now, new shower heads saving alot of water i guess, but very weak spray.
The newly refurbished dining area is now awful due to very poor design(i have been in the industry for many years). Now half the size of before, no comfy bar area, just hard seats and wooden tables, worst aspect is the use of only hard surface finishes that make the noise increase to a totally unacceptable level as there is zero sound absorbtion, a major flaw that needs rectifiying. Even the staff were complaining saying it is impossible to work in such loud acoustic conditions. This also led to a member of staff getting upset with noise levels and asking diners and drinkers to quiten down, everyone was talking normally.
But a shout out to staff meber Archie who was a star in many respects!
