Oswestry hotel

Upon arrival our room smelt of smoke where the previous ignorant customer chose to ignore Premier Inn policy. I immediately went to customer service and requested a room change. The staff were polite and professional and changed our room. The staff are in a tricky position they are expected to deliver Premier Inn standard in a hotel that is in urgent need of a revamp. Bedding, towels didn't smell fresh, pillows were not tagged used ones were stuffed back in there bag, shower not great.... but breakkie was ok. Message to the hieracy put your boots on the ground and support your staff!!!

Clean and comfortable hotel that was the ideal location for our visit with friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Decent water pressure in the shower. If you want to eat in the restaurant be sure to book. We were not expecting it to be a problem but were very rudely told there was no availability. Other than the incredibly condescending staff in the restaurant the hotel was exactly as I had expected from my stay

Premier inn plus room is superb but beware, they are in a separate building and there is no lift. Lots of parking on site, breakfast and evening meal on site is also very good but loads of other options very close by.

Nice clean hotel with great staff. Food was very nice although limited as most of the menu was not available. I would definitely use this hotel again

This is a pretty standard PREMIER INN with basic but comfortable facilities and usual furnishings. The Inn was on an industrial estate so no restaurants or pubs close by. The site's own restaurant seemed small for the number of rooms. It was busy in the evening and seemed packed at breakfast with queues for hot drinks and toast, the latter would have been helped by a rotary toaster to speed things up a little. It is adequate for an overnight stay in the Oswestry area where there doesn't seem to be a huge choice of accommodation.
