"Air con"
The air com was on high our room was freezing . We turned it down and when we got back it was high again and freezing. I told the staff and they said that they will solve it but nothing happened I complained three times to no avail the problem stayed the same all night. I hardly slept a wink.
"Great base to explore "
Read some poor reviews after booking but glad to see they were unfounded room was as I'd expect from premier inn and staff were pleasant and friendly ate at restaurant first night food was nice again staff were friendly. Had no mobile signal EE but that's no hotels fault. Upgraded WiFi which I didn't mind only needed to receive emails on VOI calls.
"Good but wi fi poor"
I regularly stay with Premier Inns often in Witney. They are usually good value if you book early. Always clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. Now the slight annoyance after paying £155 for superior room plus breakfast I was expected to fork out another £3 for reliable fast wi fi. The standard o e is slow (very) and intermittent but I suppose that is to force you to pay.
"Good location, nice rooms."
This hotel is in a good location, a short walk to Witney. The staff are friendly. The rooms are nice and the second floor room I had included a fridge which is great. Staff are friendly. Food is OK. The only downside is that there is no mobile reception on EE or O2 and the hotel WiFi, even the paid version, is very poor. I couldnt download individual pages let alone stream Netflix.
"One of the poorer Premier Inns"
Sadly we were allocated a smallish bedroom with the smallest bathroom we had ever had in many years of being Premier regulars. We only had s shower but would have loved to have been offered the option of a bath. We have family living nearby and most of their visitors stay at Witney Premier and nearly all have experienced very poor breakfasts. It would have been convenient for us to have taken the breakfast/dinner offer but with such poor recommendations, we sadly decided not to eat.
