"Good stay but restaurant concerns"
Stayed with my sister one weekend while we went to Blenheim Palace. Excellent location, don't be put off by the 'near an airport' location, I didn't notice any plane noise the whole weekend. We shared a room, my sister had the main bed and I had the single under the window. I went for the single because as I have some mobility issues I find their normal bed a little too high to easily get onto and their 'spare' bed is lower. The mattress was a bit too soft though, it felt like I would roll off if I laid too close to the edge but once I fell asleep it was fine. It needs the curtain to be drawn though (held down between the lower mattress and the wall) as since it's directly under the window the cold air from the window pane at night rolls straight down onto the bed and the drawn curtain blocks it from the bed - once I made sure of this I was cosy.
If you want your rubbish bin emptied and new towels ask for your room to be cleaned, my sister didn't realise not asking for your room to be cleaned meant it won't be touched at all. I didn't find it a problem but it was only a small bin in each room (bedroom and bathroom) with no extra bags provided. It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room, maybe this is something Premier Inn could introduce in the future, those little pots of UHT milk never replace a little bottle of real milk out of a fridge. And just to say, if you like your tea grab some extra single tea bags in reception before you go to your room - you need two in a cup to make a decent brew and there's only a couple already in the room.
The Beefeater restaurant attached to the hotel made meals very easy to go to. Breakfast was great, I always get their full English and as normal the choice was very good. However they are closing all of their Beefeater restaurants in September - as told to is by a very stressed waitress - and this is causing reduced staff problems which is causing other problems. All the restaurant staff still there in September are being made redundant so you can't blame them for leaving if they find another job but Beefeater are not quickly replacing the staff even with short-term contract staff and are expecting the remaining staff to work extra hours and shifts. Our Friday meal was ok but Saturday was badly affected, firstly a very long hour's wait after placing our order (which the waitress very kindly warned us of) and then an over-cooked meal for one of us due, I have no doubt, to the sole chef in the kitchen being left to work an 8am to 11.59pm 16 hour shift unsupported by any other chef. The whole 16 hours! Beefeater you should be ashamed! I felt very sorry for the remaining staff. I do wonder what Premier Inn are telling people for bookings after Sept, I know I booked because the restaurant was so accessible nearby and at this location there's no easily walkable alternative.

"Disappointing to say the least."
With the exception of the lady at reception (Paulina) who was friendly and welcoming, what a rotten experience. I have stayed there before and been happy with the price and service. This time the price had shot up to almost double last year's. I stayed for 4 nights and the room wasn't once serviced. The eating area and bar stank of cooking fat so much so that I only went for a quick breakfast. I have stayed at other hotels in the chain over the years and found them good and clean and good value for money. Kidlington branch needs a good overhaul IMOP.

"Oxford airport premier inn"
Standard premier inn so you know your getting a comfortable bed and room. Bathroom is great too. Staff are lovely.
The biggest issue, which isn't the hotels fault, is the poor to non existent mobile signal. Considering the hotel is part of Oxford technology park that's quite surprising. Thankfully the hotel WiFi works fine.
