Oxford Kidlington (Airport) hotel

We had a lovely clean room. All staff were approachable and friendly. We had a good nights sleep although the hotel was busy, we didn’t hear any noise. No banging doors at night or people walking up and down corridors. Thank you for an excellent nights stay!

This hotel is on a new business park away from most other facilities but has a park car park with many cctv cameras. The airport is very small and no noise was encountered. The room was typical of the brand with a comfortable bed and ample hot water for the bath with with overhead shower. Unfortunately I didn't realise until late evening that none of the power sockets in the room worked. This meant no working TV or kettle but more importantly I couldn't charge my iphone. Reception was unmanned and no other members of staff were about to deal with the issue. At 6pm I tried to book a table for just one in the restaurant but was told as they were busy and only had 2 staff members working there was no possibility until after 8pm. I was left with no option but to drive into Oxford city centre for food.

The room was ok, clean and tidy but......If you have to close the restaurant at 5pm . The receptionist should be able to advise on take outs etc. The website said that there was ongoing work that it wouldn't affect our experience. This was wrong. The website also stated that the hotel had EV chargers, I suppose they do, but according to reception staff they have never worked, and they couldn't suggest alternative charging spots. The impact. I had to get up an hour earlier ( so it affected my sleep) to find a charger . I had to find evening food as the pub closed at 5, so my relaxing evening went out the window. Reception didn't help and when I contacted customer services I just got the inept reply of we will talk to the manager so this doesn't happen again......how? I dont normally leave negative reviews but I tried to raise this with the customer service team. These issues meant that after a very long journey I then had to sort out other food, I had to get my family up an hour earlier to find a charger only to find that there was one very close I could have used overnight (separate company) had reception been vaguely helpful .

Wow… has to be the worse premier inn we have ever stayed at. And I’m writing this before my nights sleep. I think they must have the old mattress as it seems saggy. The bar staff at the attached beefeater are dealing with a poor supply chain. We don’t have that, or that, or that. Saturday night and 2 staff running a full restaurant with no stock. I feel sorry for them as they are really up against it.. so sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel or restaurant.

Easy access to Oxford and surrounding areas. Easy check in. Friendly and efficient service. Room was clean, tidy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was perfect.
