"Hit and miss depending on room given"
We were initially given 2 rooms right by the bypass which was not great at all. Traffic noise could be heard even with the windows closed. There was also a manifold cover which would make a noise whenever someone drove over it making even more noise. Also even with the curtains drawn the room would get a shadow go across which further impacted sleep.
When we complained to reception they were able to swap one of our rooms to the other building but unfortunately not both so not a very good night's sleep at all.
The main building itself was nice enough but be warned there is a chance you could be in the other building.
Would we stay here again? Unfortunately not as just too noisy to get a decent night's sleep.

"Room smelled strongly of damp and mould"
We had two 'Premier Plus' rooms. One was ok - basic but acceptable. The other had a very strong smell of damp and mould as though there had been a leak that wasn't properly rectified. We arrived late and were leaving early so couldn't face making a complaint that night. This was a budget trip costing only £450 for two rooms for the night inc breakfast so my expectations weren't high but the room was awful.

"Generally fine, disappointing with Beefeater next door."
Location easy enough to find. Short bus ride into and out of the city centre. Hotel pretty much as expected. Food was average in the Beefeater next door. Be wary if you want a drink later on and check before you head out. They decided that as it wasn't busy, they would close at 10pm. Bit remote for finding alternative post football match drinks.

"Would not stay here again"
Our room smelled like smoke and sewage. The location was quiet and the room was tidy, luckily we had a window that could be opened which helped. Air con worked. The breakfast service was aggressive, chaotic and hardly any food available, we arrived at 09:30ish and stayed about an hour. There was mouldy fruit, dirty tables, dirty surfaces and food was not topped up at all. Hot food was popular but there was a very long wait for it to be replenished. The manager was aggressive when we sat down without being shown by a member of staff, we explained we waited for a few minutes but there was noone around. We would not stay at this particular hotel again when we next visit Oxford. Such a shame as a regular Premier Onn customer
