"Hostile, un professional manager"

Yesterday we stayed the Oxford Cowley branch. Previous to this I was asked to bring proof of my sons medical appointment and proof of mine and my partner living at the same address. I was also told my sister who we bought for childcare, could stay as she was in a separate room. After our hospital appointment we went to check in and were immediately faced with problems. The girl in reception took so long and started to question me even when I showed her everything. She then said she had to get her manager’s approval. The manager came out in such an aggressive hostile, manor his attitude was appalling. He looked us up and down and kept saying about the government rules which I explained I understood and had talked to someone in the week about which they okayed us to stay. He said his colleague was wrong. It looked like we were unable to stay until he eventually agreed as we were only staying for one night . He then reminded us to wear mask ( which we were ) and to keep the noise down- almost lecturing us. I have never been spoken to like this before and it really upset me. Why was I told yes we could stay and then faced with this issue? It was almost like we were not paying guests and they were doing us a favour! My son has a medical condition and after the hospital we just needed to rest . Teddy was the managers name. You have now lost me as a customer, I will never stay in a premier Inn again.

"Hospital"

I've stayed at Cowley premier a few times every fortnight,as I have to go for cancer treatment at the churchill hospital. I produced a letter off hospital when I first started staying there, never a problem till this weekend 31st jan till 2nd Feb.the receptionist Amanda very lovely lady, started to check me & my plus one in when the deputy manager started to be very rude & obnoxious about me producing my letters of appointments & dates. I explained that I dont get appointments thro post as there all in my appointment book along with why I am there & type of treatment. He then went on to accuse me of writing it myself, he got very patronising. Demanded I get a letter off the hospital of every date I'm going to be staying at hotel. The other receptionist Amanda tried to explain that I'm a regular but he was very rude to her. He said the only reason he was going to check us in is because of the 2 hr drive we had just do. I went for my treatment the next day got a letter of my consultant & showed him on my return that evening. To which he didn't even look at & tried patronising me again. As you can imagine after my treatment I felt very poorly & tired. I went back to my room & was very upset of the whole experience of that weekend. I spoke to some other guests that had checked in on the monday & he was very rude to them, they were supposed to be there all week working but checked out the next morning. All can say is "very rude obnoxious patronising man.

"would stay again"

bad start on check in,bit of an attitude problem..then the lovely AMANDA came to my rescue,lovely lady nothing was to much trouble for her,made you feel welcome,very helpful,helped me to my room with my luggage room very clean and comfortable....no meals avaliable due to covid..but yo could order a take away to be delivered very quiet as only people on business allowed to stay

"Grat value"

£35 for two for the night, double room with bath. Room was spotless, seemingly all the covid protocols observed. We will not be using the bar/ restaurant, but it has both. Great value, good location, plenty of parking.

"Great Premier Inn"

Great Premier Inn. Lovely friendly staff from check in to housekeeping staff and night receptionist. Only 4 stars as our bed in rm 7 was hard not the usual Premier Inn standard. Lovely clean rooms and good facilities. Would stay again.
