"Mattress well past its best before date"
Having a decent mattress to get a decent nights sleep is fortunately normally guaranteed at modern premier inns. Stayed in a family room 512 here and the mattress is well beyond d needing replacing and led to a very poor nights sleep before a 300 mile drive. Won’t stay here again unless totally unavoidable.
If you can sleep on anything then it’s well situated has a free car park and a nice coop next door

"Great"
When we arrived at check in our room was not ready but Kate made us a cup of tea and kept us updated all the time till our room was ready. We ate in the on site restaurant and Johnathan made us feel welcome and was really friendly. The meal was fantastic so much so I asked Johnathan to pass on our thanks to the chef. Thank you both for a great stay.

"Wonderful Guest Experience"
I would like to share some positive feedback about the excellent service I received during my stay. Upon arrival, there was an issue with my booking, but Jonathan at reception handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and care. The matter was resolved quickly and without any stress, truly outstanding customer service. Thank you, Jonathan.
I would also like to recognise the duty manager, Kate, for her warm, friendly, and consistently excellent approach to guest service. She made me feel very welcome throughout my stay.
In addition,
I want to mention the lovely waiter, Damien, who was incredibly attentive and friendly, as well as Chef Sheila, who prepared wonderful meals and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, the team here is fantastic, and their commitment to great service is truly appreciated.

"Reliable and Comfortable"
I stayed at the Premier Inn in Botley for a night away on business and found it to be exactly what you’d expect from the brand. The room was comfortable and clean, with the usual consistency you get across Premier Inn hotels, though it was showing a bit of wear and tear in places. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it did the job perfectly well for a short business visit.

"Not a bad place, but they need to look at the night heating and deal with maintenance issues."
This is not a bad place in that it’s quite convenient for those travelling by car as it has free parking and is within a fifteen-minute taxi ride of the centre of Oxford. We stayed on a Saturday night, so were paying a relatively high price for this type of hotel. Perhaps that room rate set my expectations a little high. That said, however, most of the annoyances were maintenance issues that could – and should – have been easily dealt with before guests were assigned the room. Minor annoyances were the non-working bedside light and the TV remote with almost-dead batteries. It was just about possible to turn the TV but very difficult to select a channel! Rather more serious was the fact that heating seemed to go off during the night despite my having set the thermostat to a comfortable background temperature. I discovered the next day that there was an extra duvet in the room but it was stashed under the bed and I was unaware of its existence when it was needed. Of course, we could have raised these issues with reception, but it was already late in the evening and there is no room phone. It would have meant getting dressed and going down to reception to find someone. My guess is that very few guests, especially those staying just one night, will do that. As such, the maintenance issues are unlikely to be addressed any time soon.
To be clear, this hotel has positives such as the free parking and the bathroom with a bathtub. It’s just a pity that they don’t seem to check rooms over to make sure everything is working as it should. Waiting for guests to flag up issues is not really an adequate system. I should add that there is very little interaction with staff: you log in via a terminal and drop off you key as you exit. Had someone asked about the stay, I would have flagged up these issues. However, I wasn’t going to seek out a member of staff to do so when I needed to be on my way.
Would I stay here again? Yes, possibly, but I hope they’ll have got a grip on maintenance and looked at the heating before then.
