Oxford Botley hotel

Amazing staff who took care of us like family and the children were given attention and were looked after so well with little gifts during the Christmas and new year break! The food was good and being someone with coeliac disease the staff made sure that all my dietary requirements were met. Everything was easy to access and all the staff were attentive to our needs and questions making sure we were always comfortable and cared for in the best possible way. Big thank you to the duty managers Kate for going over and beyond for our children during the festive period and those small touches in our room which we won’t forget. Thank you to Paul another duty manager who was also very approachable and always available to help and have a friendly chat with us and the children. Duty manager Jonathan, thank you for addressing the meal situation and making us feel relaxed and at ease. Thank you to Rasool who our children absolutely loved and had a good banter with, always paying attention to our needs during dinner time. Thank you to Kiesha who showed great interest and empathy with us ensuring we had what we needed. Hira and Sana thank you for taking care of our room needs and at breakfast time. The staff at Botley Premier Inn are professional and go over and beyond to facilitate the needs of the guests making them feel comfortable and safe. I will be coming to this hotel anytime I visit Oxford in the future and would recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed here on Christmas Eve night. As you can imagine the place was pretty quiet. Our room was the standard for Premier Inn. It was comfortable enough. There were a couple of things that let the place down: the cleanliness, the water pressure and a lack of towels. The bathroom needed attention to detail cleaning wise...other peoples' hair on the floor is really off putting. The TV was splattered with something or other. There was only 1 bath towel for the two of us. I know we could have spoken to reception but it was late when we arrived and to be honest this is pretty basic. The water in the shower was hot but it lacked pressure. The price was good and we slept well so we'd probably stay again if it was as cheap as this stay. If not, we'll go somewhere else.

Hotel and rooms were clean and pleasant. Beds/mattresses/pillows were comfy. Towels were clean and super soft. Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was nice - a selection of traditional English and continental options. Shared off-site parking (underneath/adjacent to hotel) was very convenient. Location of hotel was great - close to motorway junction and in close proximity to Oxford city centre. Plenty of bus links near hotel going to Oxford city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

A great value hotel with comfortable family room and parking on site. The staff were all really kind and helpful. We opted to include breakfast which was plentiful and with good Gluten free options. The site is not in a pretty part of Oxford but its reasonably close to the city centre and A34. Certainly this represents the best value stay in Oxford for a family.

Stayed for 3nights and not a single day our room was cleaned and when informed at the reception they say the customer need to give full details as to what cleaning is needed in the room otherwise in the name of cleaning they only keep fresh towels in the room…while checking in, the staff did not inform us about their cleaning policy and also nowhere in the room was this info mentioned…they did not even have the ‘do not disturb’ or ‘please clean’ sign tags on the door….they want the customer to guess their policy I suppose. Next comes The most contaminated n unorganised breakfast buffet..it’s a danger to allergy prone people…nowhere in the world I have seen all the hot vegan,vegetarian n meat food kept together with no partitions and distance making the food drop into each other’s containers while putting them into our plates…ourselves being vegan when we pointed out this to the staff they cared a damn and stated it’s hotel policy to keep all the vegan,vegetarian n meat food together even though they fall into each others containers….we even tried requesting the staff to atleast give us the vegan food in some bowls separately for our table which we could collect by ourselves no need to serve but they did not help. Next comes the room heating…for all the 3nights we had no heating in our room, each night we complained about it and got a different answer, ultimately ended up with a chilling room for all 3 days Think before you book your stay here.
