Oxford Botley hotel

We have just spent another weekend at this hotel. This offers excellent value for visiting Oxford. Free parking is a bonus . Room clean and exactly as expected. Staff at check in / check out very polite. Had breakfast on Sunday which was good value and plentiful. Would certainly stay again. We stayed on 1st floor and room was very quiet

We stayed at the Premier Inn Botley for two nights in Room 102. We have stayed here on several occasions since it opened when visiting family in the area, and have usually had good experiences. After the first night, however, it was clear the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was soft at the edges and when either of us turned over, you rolled into the middle, resulting in a poor night’s sleep. We also found a hole and a stain on the duvet cover and sheet, as well as a missing bath towel. These issues were reported to reception the next morning. Staff were receptive and helpful, the room was cleaned, the bedding changed and the mattress flipped. While the second night was slightly improved, the mattress is clearly worn and really needs replacing. The hotel itself is starting to show its age and feels grubby in places, with some areas in need of redecoration. Another concern was the first-floor corridor door, which appeared to require a key card but could simply be pushed open. This remained the case for the entire three days, which we found disconcerting. On a positive note, staff were helpful throughout our stay and the food was tasty. The location is also convenient. Overall, this was an average stay, not terrible, but below the standard we’ve experienced here previously.

Rasool and Kate were amazing. super helpful, funny and excellent with the different families and especially the children. They were so kind, patient and joyful that they exuded the Christmas spirit. Will definitely return because their customer service was above top notch

Amazing staff who took care of us like family and the children were given attention and were looked after so well with little gifts during the Christmas and new year break! The food was good and being someone with coeliac disease the staff made sure that all my dietary requirements were met. Everything was easy to access and all the staff were attentive to our needs and questions making sure we were always comfortable and cared for in the best possible way. Big thank you to the duty managers Kate for going over and beyond for our children during the festive period and those small touches in our room which we won’t forget. Thank you to Paul another duty manager who was also very approachable and always available to help and have a friendly chat with us and the children. Duty manager Jonathan, thank you for addressing the meal situation and making us feel relaxed and at ease. Thank you to Rasool who our children absolutely loved and had a good banter with, always paying attention to our needs during dinner time. Thank you to Kiesha who showed great interest and empathy with us ensuring we had what we needed. Hira and Sana thank you for taking care of our room needs and at breakfast time. The staff at Botley Premier Inn are professional and go over and beyond to facilitate the needs of the guests making them feel comfortable and safe. I will be coming to this hotel anytime I visit Oxford in the future and would recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed here on Christmas Eve night. As you can imagine the place was pretty quiet. Our room was the standard for Premier Inn. It was comfortable enough. There were a couple of things that let the place down: the cleanliness, the water pressure and a lack of towels. The bathroom needed attention to detail cleaning wise...other peoples' hair on the floor is really off putting. The TV was splattered with something or other. There was only 1 bath towel for the two of us. I know we could have spoken to reception but it was late when we arrived and to be honest this is pretty basic. The water in the shower was hot but it lacked pressure. The price was good and we slept well so we'd probably stay again if it was as cheap as this stay. If not, we'll go somewhere else.
