Bicester hotel

Premier Inn is a great brand and always comfortable and clean with mostly great staff However, over the last few months I have stayed in a few different Premier Inns and the Aircon has not been working in all of them - I find it hard to believe that it takes 3-4 months to fix the air conditioning! Especially when I have a friend that works in one of the Hotels and has told me it is a higher management decision not to address the air conditioning to save money!! Unacceptable as the rooms are not cheap and you now have to pay for parking.

Location to Bicester village is great. However the air conditioning let it down, visiting on one of the hottest days of the year, the air conditioning was set to a minimum temperature of 19, you can’t open the windows, it was too hot. Evening meal and breakfast was okay nothing special. Room was spacious, bed comfortable, but unable to have a good sleep due to the heat.

Our Premier Plus room was nice … check in was easy & staff were friendly & really helpful. The room could have easily been better - stains on the carpet & the chair, toilet needed a really good scrub, desk chair was scruffy, walls were marked, outdoor entrance covered in fag ends & litter - it just felt very tired & unloved. We would absolutely stay again - location was perfect for Bicester Heritage & shopping village but didn’t feel like great value for money on a Saturday night !!

I normally camp or BnB when I'm travelling on two wheels, but this was a very good experience, and I felt it represented good value for money. As I was travelling for business and needed a place to study, I thought I'd give this location a try, and I'm glad I did. I had a clean, comfortable and quiet room. All facilities were stocked and functioning correctly. Staff was very polite and friendly, and check in was a breeze using the self-service kiosk (a real bonus when you've ridden 300 miles on a bike and don't feel like stripping out of your riding gear at the front desk to have a chat). There are a variety of options for food and entertainment within walking distance. One of the easier travel experiences I've had. Parking can be paid upon arrival for the duration of your stay with unlimited in-and-out access, which saved time and hassle. If you are travelling by motorcycle like I was, the parking lot was well looked over and I felt secure leaving my Harley-Davidson overnight in the parking area (even without motorcycle-specific parking) and there are a variety of beautiful roads nearby if you're in the mood to explore.

Would recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure. Walking distance for anything you might need either health/hygiene or food and its a five mins walk away from only a few shops but they cover most of what you might want. If its for shopping this is ideal for Bicester Village Shopping
