Bicester hotel

We had a premier plus room and it was so run down with chips out the furniture, headboard, walls and filthy carpet and walls we thought we’d walked into the wrong room. Could not find a member of staff anywhere. It’s all digital check in and key drop check out. The aircon was so noisy we had to turn it off and the heat was so unbearable we didn’t sleep. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel

Great location. Pub (with food) 50 yds away. Great (but pricey) Turkish 200 yds away, and a Chinese too, under Pure Gym. Waking distance from Bicester Village if you have no bags to carry! Parking charge £4.80 per 24 hrs (June '26). We booked an executive room but were downgraded on arrival around 19.30 - why no call in advance so we could consider our options?

Premier Plus Rooms being sold as having A/C but A/C system doesn't work in a number of rooms but they continue to sell them. Windows don't open so no air circulation in the room and essentially a hot box that you'll struggle to sleep in. Staff openly apologetic as they don't agree that these rooms should still be available to book. We had to keep our room door wide open for most of our stay just to get the colder air from the hallway into the room. Alternative standard rooms offered stank of mold and mildew, run down and tired looking compared with the plus room we paid for.

Headboard scratched, scuffed and dirty. Fiancé had to wipe it down. Desk chair all frayed and scuffed. Carpet was dirty, burned and stained. Skirting boards dirty. Skirting boards in bathroom all scratched and stained. Air con not working properly which was hard to sleep as it was a v warm weekend. My only positive is the receptionists were v friendly and welcoming. All in all we will not be staying here again. V disappointed as this was a premier plus room. Hairdryer constantly stopping as over heating all the time. It’s a premier minus in my experience of staying here. This is the worse one I have stayed in. Did not sleep v well as room way to warm. Premiers motto is you know what your getting. As above if this is what I’m getting I will not be staying with you much longer. Stayed in numerous premier plus rooms with not a problem. This is by far the worse we’ve stayed in.

Had read reviews about hotel needing a bit of TLC but did not find this to be an issue. However it was quite warm in the room and the AC was absolutely useless. Fortunately they had left a fan in the room so they must have known!
