"Ideal stopping off place on a long journey."
We were driving back from France, via Portsmouth, to North Wales. Our ferry arrived at 13:30 so we decided to stop off rather than endure the madness of Friday afternoon traffic in this part of the World. It is easy to find just off the motorway at Jct. 11. We arrived a 16:30 after a slow drive up - as mentioned traffic is bad around here. The staff were welcoming, and our room was nice. We had an evening meal as well as breakfast here. Both were well received. Considering it is next to a motorway and in an industrial area there was very little noise, so a good night's sleep was had by all. Would recommend this as a stopping off point on a long journey.
"Nice room poor service is restaurant"
Tried to have dinner, staff very abrupt. Restaurant was near empty but told no tables for 30+ mins. No offer to seat us for drinks etc. Very disappointing
"Very tired, do not recommend."
It's a tired Premier Inn. Feels cheap but isn't cheap. Things are broken and it generally feels a bit grubby. Staff were very helpful, but they couldn't change the fabric of the place.
"Quiet hotel"
The staff were very friendly, although the hotel was busy it was quiet and we slept very well. The air-conditioning was very welcome as was the cold water in the fridge. Temperature outside was in the 30s. Evening meal was very good and served quickly. Breakfast is typical Premier Inn but lots to choose from.Free parking on site
"Beautiful hotel, with some really helpful staff"
What a beautiful hotel. We had a family room and an accessible room for my mum and everyone was so helpful. We stayed on sunday 29th june and had two lovely gentlemen serving and caring for us, especially during our dinner (which was lovely food.) Air-conditioning in the rooms was also so good in the 30° heat. Breakfast was beautiful, but what finished it off was being looked after by a lovely gentlemen in a suit, who welcome us in the morning and was their to say goodbye. It's all in the detail, and we came away very impressed.
