"A short but amazing stay"
Everything was great. I had an amazing breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Friendly and amazing staff
"Business user that stays there often"
It's just a basic overnight stay and if you get the rooms at the end next to the roundabout traffic noise keeps you awake all night. For the price there are so many better hotels although sadly not in this location. It's not like the advert. my pillowcase never properly covers the pillow on the inside. the duvet cover is open at the end, which is not hygienic, but I suspect make changing the bed easier for staff. Its reasonably clean and not terrible but for the price you would expect much more.
"Hotel experience"
Convenient placed hotel next to Tesco superstore and other stores. Hotel clean with friendly staff. My only criticism was walking through smokers at front entrance.
"Overnight Stay."
We all know what to expect from this chain, and usually, we have few problems. However, we had a couple this time. On entering the room, we found the window net curtain and rail lying on the windowsill, which we reported as we didn't want to get blamed for it. We booked the room for two people, but only found one hand towel and one bath towel. We aren't dirty people, but expect at least a towel each. My wife and i had an evening meal where I had a curry, but my wife only wanted a desert, which we told the server to serve together. I had finished my curry, and no sign of the desert. On having my plate cleared away we mentioned the missing desert and still had to wait another 10 mins for it to arrive. The hot breakfast bacon and sausage could have been cooked a bit longer, and the fried eggs had been under the hot plate lights so long the yolks had gone solid. And don't forget the £3-50 car parking charge.
"Lovely staff"
I booked 3 family rooms for my partner and I plus several family members going to a wedding. The rooms were all clean and comfortable, check-in was straightforward and all staff were helpful and polite. We decided to stay for breakfast and Sally was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant became fairly busy as breakfast got underway but Sally remained calm and professional throughout and still managed to go the extra mile to ensure everyone had what they needed and enjoyed their breakfast experience.
