"Great Hotel; great service; lovely staff."
Rooms were clean and fresh. Staff were so helpful and moved my room to near my daughter who had booked separately. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and both the Maitre 'D and the chef (both women) were completely amazing and so helpful. They just could not do enough and were a model of what dining room / kitchen staff would be!

"Fantastic friendly staff and gluten free understanding."
We had a lovely stay the last few days. Lovely clean room and facilities.
I especially want to say how brilliant the chef Allyson was with her understanding and care with my gluten intolerance. She cooked my breakfast perfectly and I’m always so grateful knowing my food was cooked and handled with care. 10 out of 10 to both Allyson and Toni our host. She was also very understanding, knowledgeable and helpful when ordering and made sure I had a specifically gluten free toaster to use.
The place was lovely and clean and welcoming. Thank you.

"Diabolical Dump"
I use Premier Inns regularly in various locations. I do so as they are reasonably priced, comfortable & well located. Basically, you know what you are getting wherever you stay…or so I thought.
Daybrook, Nottingham, what a shambles!
Despite proof of pre-payment, they asked for payment again.
Walked into the room & immediate reaction was, well how scruffy. Realised it was an accessible room anyway, so asked to change. Was told that’s what my partner booked & they were fully booked. Fair enough. I’ll deal with him later! 😂
Back to the room & had a gander at the Premier Inn website - guess who could still book a room at that hotel for that night? Fully booked eh?
The bed was scruffy on arrival & not the normal king sized bed. In fact it was so small the pillows hung off the sides. Are disabled people not entitled to the same king sized beds as able bodied people? They should be given more room not less.
Went to have a shower, there were 2 bath towels & 1 hand towel despite the room being booked for 2 people.
Picked up a bath towel & it had a small stain on it (suspiciously like a blood spot). The hand towel has a hole in it about the size of 2p.
Went to reception for replacements. Oh & whilst at it, the package of 2 extra pillows that should be in each room, but not in ours. Funny how the receptionist walked into another hotel room of the fully booked hotel to give us their spare pillows!
Went to have a shower. The tap unit of the bath was very wobbly & due to the grab rails I had about 2ft width to shower in. I’m not complaining about the grab rails being there, but as a fortunate, able bodied person struggling to shower with a shower curtain wrapped tightly around me due to the very limited space, it beggars belief how Premier Inn expect anyone with mobility issues to shower comfortably & safely.
Gave my partner his towel when I came out of the shower & if I was unhappy with the small hole in the hand towel, imagine my shock at the giant gaping, disintegrating hole in his bath towel!
Pulled the covers back on the bed later & the bedding was covered in spots of what looked like stains of blood (again!)
Then to top it off, WhatsApped Premier Inn’s contact number to register a complaint and 1 week later, they still haven’t bothered to read it.
So, book this hotel at your own risk!
