"Excellent and attentive staff"
Wonderful staff team. Got very hot in upstairs rooms but was moved to a downstairs room on request. Excellent service from all members of staff at all times. Location brilliant. Food was consistently good. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

"Nice if you enjoy trying to sleep in a sauna"
I would not wish my worst enemy a stay at this property during the summer. Whilst I am sure it’s ok during autumn/ winter I’d give this a very wide birth during summer,
The hotel is a sweat box. No air conditioning in the rooms and windows barely open.
A very poor, filthy fan blows hot air around the room which made the stay unbearable.
On a positive note, the staff were lovely but that didn’t help me sleep.
Whilst I appreciate this is a budget hotel as a minimum you need to ensure the windows open properly and provide clean fan . During hot weather complimentary water in the room also wouldn’t go a miss.,,
I am waiting this from the hotel lobby at 3 am as I couldn’t stay in the room any longer..

"If you like queuing politely for your full English like a Brit, this is the hotel for you"
Premier Inn seem to have disabled their feedback form by not allowing people to use the space bar making the text look like gobbledegook, so this will unfortunately be public rather than private feedback.
I have never experienced a shambolic and chaotic hotel buffet breakfast experience as the one I had at the Premier Inn Nottingham (Goldsmith Street). Not just at any Premier Inn, but any hotel I've ever stayed at.
I arrived ahead of the advertised peak times to find a queue of people waiting at the buffet bar because there was literally no hot food out. Other customers attempted to get some cereals to tide them over before the hot food was available, but - you guessed it - there were no bowls or spoons either. I'd previously managed to grab a mug of tea before joining the queue but that was about it.
After about ten minutes of waiting (!) some hot food came out, and the family in front of me kindly allowed me to queue jump because they were waiting for eggs so I assembled half a plate of food from what was available.
I then went to get some yoghurt and fruit, and found that while I'd managed to find a bowl, I'd be eating with my hands, because there were no spoons in the cutlery jar on my table, so as no one was around to ask, I swiped a dessert spoon from another table.
Finally, there was no one at reception to talk to about this, after breakfast "service" or when checking out, the consequences of running a business on skeleton staff. Most of the people who should have been customer facing were hiding in the back rooms rather than trying to address the chaos.

"Suffocating summer fun!"
Good location and very nice staff - but no aircon and you can’t open the window more than an inch. They do provide a fan.
Basically if you enjoy sweaty, sleepless summer nights then this is the place for you!
