Nottingham Castle Marina hotel

Our room was ready for an early 12 noon check in which really was much appreciated. It gave us a chance to have lunch close by before going the watch an ice hockey game. On our return we went to the restaurant within the hotel for some dinner. My husband and I were greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff whose names are Louise and AK who had to regrettably inform us that not all of the items on the menu were available as they hadn’t been delivered. However, they did everything they could to put together the items they did have available to provide a really lovely evening meal for us both. They were both so incredibly accommodating and really went above and beyond to ensure our meal, despite the “menu” situation they found themselves in, was lovely. They really are a credit to the hotel. Thank you both so much ladies.

Lovely stay when attending a show at motorpoint arena. Room was clean and tidy. We stayed in a plus room, the surprise welcome treat of two bags of Cadbury chocolates and two mini bottles of Prosecco was a lovely touch. The hotel is being extended but as we arrived 4pm on a Saturday this didn’t affect us as no workmen on site. Great stay would highly recommend. Mr&Mrs Thomas (34,36)

Unfortunately this was an awful experience. The room was really dirty, no towels in room, and the worst was the bathroom bin had not been emptied from previous occupants and was full of used sanitary products. The room in general did not look like it had been properly cleaned for quite some time, dust and dirt built up around edges of carpet, brown staining along bottom of shower screen. We didn't notice the unemptied bin until late in the evening and did report to reception. Receptionist very apologetic but unable to organise any compensation/reduction in our room rate without us contacting guest relations who weren't open that late at night. Unfortunately this is the last time we will stay in a premier inn, having been loyal customers for many years and never complained before. Standards seem to be gradually slipping. Staff were friendly and trying their best but overall the dirty room really put me off.

Our stay was fantastic. Porscha on reception was lovely and really helpful. We decide to dine in at the restaurant attached to the hotel The Social and I'm very glad we did the food was lovely and served very quickly and most importantly red hot. The staff in there where all very helpful (I think they were called AK and Tee with a littlehelp from Porscha) Would definitely recommend staying here for an event in Notts we definitely will be.

Fantastic experience. Lovely welcoming staff. My son had a birthday and the HM and team arranged lovely treats that he got when we arrived at the room (the perfect Wow!) Breakfast was fantastic. Hotel was beautifully clean. For an ex Premier Inn HM, it is obvious there is a great team working there. Thank you.
