"Not the usual premier standard"
We use premier inn regularly. On this occasion we were disappointed. The room it self and staff were good. However the A/C wasn't working but we had no prior notice of this. We booked this hotel because it had A/C. We understand things go wrong and that can't be helped but prior notice would have been nice. The WiFi also wasn't working that evening. Breakfast was poor purely to the lack of staff one poor guy was trying to do everything. Resulting in the food being cold by the time we got it and the continental selection being empty. Not the usual standard of a Premier Inn
"Dated decor"
Very tired and dated decor. The usual premier inn decor but really does need updating. No air conditioning in the room but they did provide 2 fans but then these take up the plug sockets and they are noisy. Few cobwebs around and no plugs for the sink & bath which could also do with a proper clean. Breakfast ok - not the usual buffet as hot food you had to order. Staff work hard though as on at night then serving breakfast in the morning.
"Room clean but hot"
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for our sons Graduation .We were checked in by a pleasant young man and we were allocated a room on the 2nd floor , we were advised at check in that the lifts weren't working but we prefer the stairs anyway for exercise.We got to our room which was a premier plus room , big enough for 2 and the main thing being clean . The only negative was it was stifling and the only a/c available was a fan in the room which had to be left on overnight .We overlooked the back of the pub /restaurant and a bit of the car park which could get noisy with bins being filled and people talking but im hearing impaired so it didn't impact me as much as my husband. The window stayed permanently open because the room was so hot . Overall it was adequate for our needs, The retail park isn't too far to walk and there are pubs, restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach .The canal is a few minutes away . If we revisit Nottingham we will stay here again but we will prepare better .
"SERVICE"
I recently dined at the premier inn restaurant had the pleasure of being served by Ben Aleena and Shazeen. From start to finish, their service was absolutely exceptional . Food was great too , definitely recommend 👌
"Dont stay here"
Damp all in the bathroom. Floor and walls, the smell was disgusting. Carpet was absolutely stinking. Child bed was broken. Would never stay here again. All needs a good re vamp! And deep clean
