"Great little hotel for a pleasant overnight stay"
A clean, well managed hotel in a very convenient location. Restaurant attached to the hotel and fast food options also available over the road. Room was a good size with a big tv! Very clean and quiet. Staff at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. Would recommend a stay here.

"Disappointing for the price"
Location was convenient and clean and tidy hotel. Friendly staff. However a few concerns, firstly the price £142 for 1 night, nearly as expensive as London and then had to pay for car parking on top. Secondly was no heating in room, had a thermostat/aircon panel but apparently that room didn’t have it and then heater on wall didn’t work. Finally no safe for valuables, admittedly I didn’t check beforehand but thought that was fairly standard and not a cheap room. Will try somewhere else next time I stay in the area.

"Friendly helpful staff"
We have stayed at this premier inn on several occasions. It’s always been clean and tidy and the staff always welcoming and helpful Abbey could not have been more helpful and friendly going above and beyond. All in all a thoroughly pleasant experience

"Not the best sleep 💤"
Thankfully only one night stay here, the room was clean, usual layout etc.
The overnight noise from outside is horrendous, mainly due to the clientele using the 24hr fast food restaurant next door, people screaming and shouting and cars and motorbikes revving up throughout the night.
Breakfast is just about acceptable, one member of staff checking guests in as well as attending to replenishing food and drinks.

"Good Room, but Hot, food not so good"
Room and staff good, but a Hot room even with the fans they provided and that wasnt in the heat wave period of 2026. lost marks for the meal deal, breakfast , great cant fault it, great coffee out that machine.
Evening meal, slow service and wrong order the first night after having to chase staff to see if we had been forgotten (looks like we had), second night chicken curry which was like a cheap asda frozen one, and my mixed grill had under cooked chicken ( still pink in centre and cold). hard to find any staff as only one over worked young girl trying her best to greet and seat, take orders, bring out food, clear tables etc etc, poor girl! so basically room fine but hot, great breakfast, poor evening meal
