"family friendly for sure"
went for a wedding function in Newark-on-trent in august with the family. it was sweltering although no ac in this hotel but they had 2 fans to compensate.
we were greeted and helped with a smile and banter ...!
room was great, bathroom needs a bit of cosmetic attention.
but over all had a great time there.
great value for money .

We stayed overnight at the lovely Premier Inn Newark on August 11th , our Wedding Anniversary, after having stayed with friends in the NE near County Durham. We thought the stay at your Hotel/Inn would be a welcome break to make the long drive back to our home in Bromley, Kent easier. It was a very warm day and it was so great to see welcoming iced water in the reception area. This was a nice ,caring touch for all customers. My husband and I felted dehydrated after our drive and enjoyed downing 2 glasses of water. Our room was fine. However, the digital fan that each room is supposed to have was missing. Given the heatwave conditions we found the room unbearably hot . So my Husband went to reception to see if we could be supplied with a fan. He then returned to our room with bottles of iced water that Vicky at reception had given him. Two minutes later there was a knock at our door. It was wonderful Vicky armed with a glorious digital fan. Many thanks Vicky for personally bringing this to our room. It made such a difference and we had a beautiful, restful nights sleep. Breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had also planned to visit the Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln the next day and the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. We had a fantastic time and your Premier Inn Newark was in the perfect location to help us achieve this.

The room we had was clean and modern (was very much what you expect from a premier inn)
Gave us a brilliant fan too so I can’t moan!

In need of a refurb. No air conditioning. Breakfast terrible.
Paying for parking on top of room fee is a joke. Check in was swift and staff friendly. Ultimate wifi no longer supports 3 devices even though says on website and tv when log in. Voucher code only work for one device.
