This is by far the worst premier inn I have ever stayed in. If I could leave zero stars for this Premier Inn, I absolutely would. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. Due to a minor confusion with payment and booking, I politely asked if they needed the booking reference. The response I received was: “I don’t need the booking reference, I just need your money.” That alone set the tone for the entire stay, disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. The restaurant situation is a complete joke. It is located across the car park and clearly incapable of handling guests. With only one chef, you are forced to book a very specific time slot, with only one table of four allowed every 15 minutes. We were pushed to a 7:15pm slot, and when we arrived just 11 minutes early, we were turned away because there was “nowhere to sit”, despite clearly unused seating being blocked off for breakfast service the next day. Absolutely ridiculous. Breakfast is marketed as “unlimited,” but in reality, it’s slow, inefficient, and frustrating. You have to order everything, and when more than one table is ordering, the delays are significant. To make matters worse, the cleanliness is appalling, the floors were sticky, the tables were sticky, and the entire place felt unhygienic. As for the rooms, they are far below any acceptable standard. The hotel is clearly aware of this, as there is a note in the room admitting they are not up to standard and that improvements are planned. That’s not reassuring, it just confirms you’re paying to stay somewhere they already know is subpar. Overall, this place is poorly run, badly maintained, and staffed by people who seem to have no interest in customer service. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it.

Lovely hospitality, staff very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and well kept. Location was great for local food, being either take out or supermarket options. Adjacent the hotel is a pub/restaurant that is an extension to the hotel. Pleasantly greeted and helped in choosing food/drinks by Kacper and Jade

We stayed in the premier Inn whilst visiting for the Easter weekend to watch the festival of power at Santa pod raceway close by. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything you needed for your stay. We went over to the restaurant on the Saturday evening and the staff were so friendly Kacper especially was so friendly chatty and very attentive always checking everything was alright and clearing any empty plates or drinks glasses! What a lovely gentleman - a real asset to your staff team for sure! The food was really lovely as well compliments to the chef! We had mixed grills, steaks and Currys and it was all very nice and delicious Raz I believe he was very nice also bringing our plates of food and clearing tables. If we come again we'd love to come back as not far from the Santa pod raceway as well as having Mc Donalds, Subway, Tesco and Lidl all very close by and the restaurant of course. Thanks for our stay! If carling made premier inns it would be this one, icgot Tommy room and wtfc were playing a football match, you can't get better than that, the room is good too.
