"Grim"
Grim experience.
Hotel very grubby. Bugs on the bed on arrival, tape holding things together. Old hotel, which I believe is under refurbishment work.
Still, for £160 a night it was a poor show. The hotel should be closed for refurbishment work.
The picture below sums up teh hotel. Breakfast coffee facilities had 'clean' mugs on old rotten MDF shelves , which were held together with tape.
Having said the above, the staff were friendly enough, but I won't be staying there again.

Dining at the Beefeater was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The bacon cheeseburger and pizza were amazing!! They were both cooked perfectly. The cheeseburger was tender and juicy and the pizza had the perfect amount of cheese. The sundae was gorgeous too, with the perfect amount of chocolate sauce that gave the ice cream an extra kick of flavour without being too overpowering. Our servers, Kacper, Molly, Victoria, Emma and Jade, were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The cozy lighting and soft music made it a great spot to relax. I will definitely come back again!

I stay at this hotel every year at the same time.
At the moment there's a bit of building work going on so the car park was a little restricted. The hotel has not been refurbed for a while but it's super clean and all the amenities are well looked after.
The pub next door which is owned by the hotel is just as good. The drinks are great as is the food and the breakfast was excellent.
The staff were more than good .
Macy,Kasper,Selkie and Lucy all gave excellent service

Stayed at this hotel over the last 20 years…. It has gone down hill rapidly, still no aircon, it was stifling!! The rooms desperately need an update/refurb, it’s starting to look very tired/shabby, arrived at the hotel…. sorry building site, half the carpark was sealed off due to the building works which we was not informed about when booking our 3 night (over priced) stay, was informed by staff on arrival to park in the Pizza Hut car park opposite, so having to cross a busy MAJOR road with luggage after a 5 Hour Journey!! To top it off, no chef in the restaurant to cook and no back-up chef, this sadly will be my last stay at this hotel, the dust from the building site was also a nightmare….. my advice is ….avoid!!
