Northampton Town Centre hotel

Whilst the hotel itself, staff and food are all great, I have unfortunately come away with bed bugs. I am now having to shell out over 1k to get my house professionally treated after bringing them home. Really not happy.

Staff on the first day were great arrived 18 th left 21st. Really friendly. Until I asked for an invoice as the email system invoice system not good. Does not deliver to me. The lady in the small office that me and my three colleagues requested an invoice as it was a business trip and needed it for expenses. The lady was rude and all PI s don’t seem to know that a pro rota is not an invoice . Al other staff were great sadly this is the experience I receive when I request an invoice . Please make it easier PI

The location was extremely convenient, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and parking. The room was also clean, and I really appreciated having a bathtub with plenty of hot water. The only issue was that I had to go to reception every morning to request room cleaning. Since the reception staff also seemed to be working in the breakfast restaurant, I felt a little uncomfortable having to press the buzzer and call them away from their other duties. On top of that, when they came to reception, I sometimes got the impression that my request was a bit of an inconvenience. Personally, I think a more flexible system would work better. For example, if it were possible to simply have fresh towels provided without requesting a full room cleaning, I probably would not have asked for the room to be cleaned every day. Overall, the hotel was very convenient and comfortable, but I think improving the housekeeping system would make the stay even better.

Good location right in town, room was cool and not hot. Very clean. However the boiler is a bit noisy after someone has bathed but it gets quiet after a while.

Clean central hotel with friendly and helpful staff. In a very hot period the air conditioning was wonderful and constant in the room. There is no parking available in the hotel but a drop off facility but next door there is a council run car park which cost me lass than £5 for a stay from 6pm to 12am the following day.
