York South West hotel

All the staff where very friendly and helpful especially the lady who took our breakfast order she was very bubbly cheerful and welcome and took good care of us would highly recommend and the thing was the best especially for my partner the tg worked and had easy access to to set up the subtitles as she is profoundly deaf the lady who did the breakfast is slightly older lady witg long blond hair

Lee on the night shift was horrible and made our stay a nightmare. He was extremely rude and very disrespectful to us when we engaged with him. As a room / hotel it worked but Lee on the night shift did not help our situation.

Handy for the park and ride into York. Quiet although the A64 is noticeable with the window ajar. Room fine, just a minor adjustment needed on the bathroom door. Value OK as the breakfast was thrown in. No problem with cleanliness of room. Staff friendly and chatty, Sue M needs a mention, very hard working and sociable lady serving the restaraunt. . I’d stop again if they ran the free brekky deal, the menu was a bit of concerns with the ‘meal deal’ as certain meals required extra payment, not apparent on any menu I saw. Doom bar was not included either and required an extra payment. These menu items/omissions did irritate tho’.

Do not eat here, we were given raw chicken and the quality and overall presentation of the food was very very poor. Nice friendly staff though

We stayed here for our family trip to York and to see relatives. It’s located a short drive to the park and ride which is ideal for getting into York. The location is also supplemented by a McDonald’s and Starbucks in walking distance. The hotel was used by a range of guests but had a good atmosphere and generally very quiet at night. The rooms were the usual for a premier inn. A little tired but for what we paid was very good. Overall I’d definitely stay there again and I thought really good value for what you get.
