York North hotel

Parking on site was welcome. Clean and comfortable as expected. Breakfast was particularly good as they served Greek yoghurt in a bowl, not just small pots. The fresh fruit was also nicer than usual places. As always, staff lovely , helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, front of house Mgr really on the ball, nothing is too much trouble , all staff very helpful. Breakfast good quality will definately choose this hotel again

This is my 3rd visit to this hotel and I can't fault it. Just outside the city centre in a quiet residential area there is a lovely pub next door called The Dormouse that serves quality food and drinks with a lovely outdoor setting. Both the pub and the hotel have been refurbished - they are not affiliated with each other. The rooms and ensuites have been refitted to a high standard. This hotel also has its own breakfast eatery all made to order - you can't fault the quality/choice and they cater for vegan/vegetarians too which is great. Overall, its modern, clean, quiet, ample parking and just a short taxi, car or bus ride into the city. The bus stop is just across the road and you get can an all day ticket, buses are very frequent. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. During the exception hot whether chilled bottled water was provided which is a really nice thoughtful touch. Keep up the fantastic work.

I recently stayed at this Premier Inn as part of a road trip and enjoyed the experience. Having stayed at so many Premier Inns I tend to note the distinguishing features these days. The room was as good as I expected but the unusual feature of this site is that the adjacent restaurant isn’t one of the normal branded ones (eg Beefeater). In this case the evening meal was provided by what appears to be an independent gastro pub. Having said that the menu choice was good and I enjoyed my meal. Breakfast was provided in a separate area inside the hotel building and was the usual choice of cooked or continental but served by Premier Inn staff. As the space was reduced cooked breakfast was ordered at the table (unusual). My only minor gripe was that in a car park with plenty of space there was no EV charging provision. However there are good public chargers about 2-300 yards away at a nearby gym on the road into town.

Great stay just over a mile from the city centre, a lovely pub next door and ample parking. No issues with room, comfortable with everything we needed
