      "Extreme heat, no air-con, no responsibility by premier inn"
      Terrible stay, booked for 3 nights stayed only 1 due to extreme heat, no air con only a fan that did not provide any relief only circulated hot air. Finally nodded off at 3am. No compensation because it says on website under room rates in small print no air-con but for people with poor eye sight not visible. premier inn guest feed back team not interested therefore sleep guaranteed other money back not worth the paper its written on.

      Very clean, staff extremely approachable, friendly & accommodating to special needs. Service is always with a smile in both the hotel and the restaurant. Would definitly stay here again.

      The staff at the Hotel were very helpful and explained everything at reception. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Parking is available and easy to get to the hotel. Would stay again!! Cricket ground is not far away!!!

      We stayed for a single night, on Friday 5th June 2025. We booked two rooms, Rooms 243, & 242. Both met with our request for a quiet room & clean & comfortable. Breakfast, was good. I recommend not waiting long, to devour your breakfast, otherwise by the time you return from making toast, the breakfast will be cold. Still edible though. Special gratitude to Jess, who checked us in late night. Nat, Zeph, Debs, who were friendly & funny, & in the breakfast area: Mitchell & Sharon.

      Stayed here for the second time this weekend and again was not disappointed. What a lovely friendly welcoming hotel this is. The staff really go the extra mile and everyone seemed so happy in their work and made time to chat. From the reception staff to the restaurant staff every person we spoke we could not fault. The rooms are exactly as you expect from Premier inns, clean, quiet & comfortable. The beer garden here is one of the best we've seen at Premier inns and the breakfast is excellent value at £10.99 all you can eat. Loads of parking and not far from York in a taxi. So all things considered definitely 10 out of 10 Premier Inns 👍

York Races is an odds on favourite, and there are all the sights and sounds of the city to enjoy too, like York Minster and the National Railway Museum. From St Nicholas' Fayre to the Festival of Angels, there are festivals aplenty, and when the fun dies down get on the home straight back to our Beefeater Restaurant and warm comfy beds.
