    "Standard Premier"
    We tend to choose Premier Inns because you know what you are getting and the grandchildren, when with us, love the breakfast. This is a standard Premier with a BeefEater next door, accessible through an internal door which is handy. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we have done this enough times to know how it operates, even the car parking. What we have noticed is that maintenance standards appear to be falling. There were a couple of out of order signs in reception. Our bathroom extractor fan was noisy, not enough to complain about for one night but just a niggle. Some Premiers are now appearing a bit tired. Whilst these are challenging times for the hospitality industry it is competitive. Travel Lodge are bit basic and Holiday Inn slightly more expensive but Premier,as a brand, need to watch out. As I said, at this Premier the staff were good, in hotel and restaurent, but it is lookiong a little tired.

    i stayed for 1 night at this premier inn hotel which overall was pretty great, they had amazing lovely staff but i found some hair in my bed that certainly wasn't mine and the sheets are quite thin.
    "A really enjoyable stay"
    A lovely stay. Easy to access, clean, comfortable, excellent food available, and such friendly staff. The staff found out it was our wedding anniversary and left flowers and chocolates in the room for us. It was such a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture.

    Room had a musty damp smell and bedding felt damp, only duvet covers on bed had to put duvets in ourselves, reported to reception and nothing done about damp smell

    Clean room,comfy bed. Our main issue was the fact we were put in the last room which is the furthest away,my husband has some mobility issues and I didn’t see any options to request a room on the ground floor when booking. This is the second time this has happened at this hotel!
