"Reliable and satisfactory."
You’re guaranteed a good night’s sleep in a quiet, decent size room with a decent television where everything is reliably clean. Excellent location, although finding a parking space in the hotel car park is not guaranteed. Overall good value for money and will stay there again on future visits.
"Parking misery"
Parking for this hotel is shockingly bad. Had to park in retail park down road. Not great after a long and stressful drive. Website says limited parking and that’s an understatement. Staff are nice but clearly overworked and not enough off them. Massive queues at reception to check in so even though I just needed a mug for the room had to wait in same queue as those checking in. Took an age. Will not be staying there again unless they sort out more parking.
"Wouldn’t stay again."
Woman who checked us in is not good at customer service at all, didn’t stand once wanted us to reach over for the key cards. She had her 3 bags on the floor next to her which just seems like a trip hazard for the other staff who had to step over her bags. Wasn’t a great start especially when she smirked while telling us our room number. Room was ok until we stripped the bed at the end of our stay to learn we had been sleeping on a mattress protector covered in period blood. Bathroom was just worn and needs some parts fixed.
"Overworked and understaffed, great food and location"
Overworked and understaffed. Hotel is new but already dirty in places, we ate in the restaurant and had to ask for clean cutlery as the ones on the table looked dirty. There were flies in the vinegar bottles. The food itself was excellent but expect delays as there are simple not enough staff. The staff we did meet were charming and polite and trying their utmost, especially Jamie. Use the carpark on the retail park , the part next to Costa it's half the price of the hotel one (which is always full anyway). Location for the city is superb. I'd use this Premier again, it just needs more Jamies!

We had a pleasant stay, comfortable and excellent location. A special mention should go to Meilu for her excellent service and good nature. Good job.
