"Coach drivers an afterthought"
On arrival the staff member couldn't understand me.A coach driver with a group of 30, i was the only one given a room with no air con and wanted to swap, one staff member said it could be done but after spending 20mins at reception with another he declared that they couldn't move me, I gave up and spent the night in a room wish was unbearably hot. day 2 requested a move again was told it would be possible then again the system wouldn't allow it as I was part of a group. so a second night with little sleep due to the extreme temperatures. Here's the thing as a coach drive we are often the after thought when bringing a group but who needs the sleep more. the group who can sleep on the coach or the driver who needs their wits about them?? Breakfast service was poor often waiting a while to be greeted then waiting longer for kitchen orders. overall not a great experience from someone who usually is a big fan of premier inn

Great location with only a short walk into the city centre. Lovely clean room with comfortable beds. Staff were friendly
"Warm and welcoming"
Attended a school reunion event at the Blossom Street North Hotel on June 27th. Without exception, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Buffet food was plentiful and varied, great value for money. All in all, a very pleasant and welcoming experience.
"Very sympathetic and caring staff"
The room itself was comfortable and clean. Very spacious for our family. The price was pretty expensive for a Premier Inn. But the staff were incredible. Particularly Becky and Beth (reception and house keeping). We left our case on the train and they were incredibly sympathetic and left us some biscuits in our room. They also helped us reconfigure the room to make it safe for our 2 year old to sleep in a bed rather than a travel cot. We thought they were brilliant.
"It was ok"
Quite central, rooms ok. Staff on reception are lovely. Breakfast not great, some staff are harassed and a bit rude. It was a bank holiday so very busy but they ran out of some food items, the juice and water was empty, no plates, etc. It was ok as a place to stay, but if you're expecting a nice holiday then look elsewhere.
