"An ok visit but more expensive than usual!"
The hotel is ok and the air conditioning was welcome.
The price was more than usual due to the Great Yorkshire Show
The breakfast was lack luster and not very warm.

"Great location"
Location excellent. On the whole, a good stay, but guests stand outside smoking which is not a good look or smell. Hotel needs a good deep clean of carpets and upholstery, Accessible wetroom was great but floor needed a good bleach/steam clean. Continental breakfast offerings pretty sparse, cooked looked a bit dried up unless you were there early. Staff noticeable by their absence. the drive towards automation is in full swing but is no use to me being disabled. No help was offered to us with bags etc, or anything else. Ground floor room windows do not open. So what happens if a fire breaks out in the corridor? You'll burn to death as no other exit. Air conditioning doesn't replace good old fresh air although very useful. No drawers to put anything at all in. Rail & a couple of hangers but we ladies need a couple of drawers.
Given a good deep clean, and restaurant tables replaced (pretty awful), and staff who actually look as if they want to be there and do a job, then it would be an excellent hotel.

"Friendly, clean well located Hotel"
We were attending my son's wedding at a venue nearby. The hotel was easy to find and ideally located for both the wedding venue and the town centre. The hotel was, clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local information and knowledge. There was plenty of car parking which was great so no hunting around for space on arrival or times during our stay. Self check in process was also very easy. We are late breakfasting so like in many hotels later breakfast eaters may find some tired hot food items by the time they are eating

"Not my best stay at a Premier Inn but we will be back"
Pretty much as per the standards you would expect from a premier Inn. There was only a couple of issues one was the bed was to high off the floor for my wife who is only 5'5". The quilt was to thick and heavy for the time of year. The other let down was the quality of the breakfast food, bacon as tough as shoe leather.

"Relaxed"
It was fine, BUT having stopped at quite a few Premier Inns over the year this is one of the less ‘flashy ones’?
Nothing inherently wrong with the hotel, the restaurant doesn’t look particularly inviting, clean, functional but definitely not somewhere you’d go for anything ‘Romantic’ or for atmosphere, that said as a base for heading out for the day and somewhere to put your head it’s fine.
We were in a family room, (even though there was only the two of us) don’t think I booked a family room intentionally, it was ok, amenities, like everywhere now are ‘bare bones’ a few coffee/Tea sachets, milk and sugar, the cups were clear glass and showed up streaks and fingerprints from being washed.
Unusually for our room the beds, whilst being fine (although I do wish during summer months they put lighter duvets on) they weren’t finished off with the usual purple Premier Inn runner?
One hand towel although I’m sure we could easily have asked for more if needed.
All in all it suited our needs we just felt that despite the cleanliness the overall feel was it wasn’t as nice as a lot of others we’ve stopped at that have felt more ‘High end’ the young guy who checked us in was excellent and a credit to Premier Inn.
Would I recommend, yes of course I would.
