Scarborough (South Bay) hotel

Great hotel in a great location, within walking distance to all the main places within Scarborough. Bed really comfy as you expect and reception staff really helpful and friendly.

The quality of the breakfast was poor, tried it on my first day and again on my last day and there was no improvement. The bathroom facilities were poor, the toilet tissue dispenser was woeful with one sheet at a time and the tissue was very thin. I'm sure if you had held it up to the light you would have been able to see through it. So much so I purchased my own toilet tissue. I have stayed in a number of Premier Inn's and this is the first time I have been let down by the bathroom facilities and the breakfast service.

The staff were polite and open, cleaners were excellent and friendly. The room was in a quite zone, which it was quite. There were road works outside the hotel but we didnt hear anything.

Superb stay, great location and great hotel. This south bay premier inn is a great location, just opposite the Grand Hotel, convenient for the south bay beach and town centre.

Really disappointed. The hotel is a forgotten Premier Inn. Its very old and out dated and extremely dirty. The room is grimey and dirty, the skirting boards are dusty, the carpets mucky and the cleaning standards are poor. The breakfast was really poor and again. Dirty cups and cutlery. The self check in was enabling people to check in when rooms wasn't ready which made the que massive on check in. The lady was on her own trying to manage this and despite asking for help no one came. 45 minutes later I finally got checked in. I really wouldn't reccomend. Its a shame but as far as a premier inn goes it is very disappointing and grubby.
