"Dirty hotel and awful manager"
Worst ever experience I have encountered in a premier inn.
The place was filthy.
The first room we went to was awful: The bathroom had hairs literally everywhere and hairs on the bed. Literally made me feel ill. We were offered another 2 more rooms which had hairs everywhere. No idea what was going on.
Accepted the 4th room but at this point had lost the will. The young lad that had shown us to these rooms was pleasant and originally said I’ll get my manager but when taken to the fourth room he said is manager was busy. After we had agreed on the room he asked me 3 times if I wanted to speak to a manager and said come and get me when you are ready and I’ll take you to him. So I did exactly this. However he then said his manager was busy on the hot plate and could I come back the next day. I politely said no I wanted to speak to him now. I was taken to the hot plate and spoke to George. Quite frankly this man shouldn’t be in charge, His attitude was dire from the offset. When he said I was demanding because I wasn’t happy with my room I lost all faith in him. No apology, no remorse. He was clearly out of his depth. Had the cheek to tell me I shouldn’t have come to him
When he was busy. He clearly has No customer service skills and no management skills whatsoever.
It completely spoilt my
Trip with my daughter. I will never visit a premier inn again.

"Do not stay here - Manager out of his depth."
Would not recommend this hotel. Awful customer service and manager couldn’t care less about his guests.
The first room we were given had multiple hairs, in the bath, on the towels, on the bed. There was actual dirt on the carpets and on the desk.
Having informed the individual on reception, he gave us a 2nd room.
This 2nd room had dirt round the bath and hairs also in the bathroom and in the bed.
Once again, informed reception and were given a 3rd room. No surprise, the same detail.
At this point, onto our 4th room, no hairs to our surprise, however soap marks down the sink, toothpaste stains on the floor, dirty bin and dirty and rusty hand soap.
Having no option to drive home the same night we had to stay in the room.
Disappointed with the dirty and unclean rooms we asked the individual at reception to speak to the manager.
The manager called George was apparently very very busy in the kitchen and we were told we could speak to him in the morning. Wanting to resolve this tonight we politely asked if we could speak to him now please.
We were told we could spoke to him but it had to be over the hot plate as he was in the kitchen busy.
George, who describes himself as the manager was very rude and very un interested. He stated that we were ‘demanding’. This is very untrue, all we asked and expected for our £204 a night stay was a clean room. I don’t think this is much to ask.
George continued to tell us how he was very busy in the kitchen and respectfully as a paying customer, that is not my problem.
George the manager, clearly out of his depth and unable to communicate effectively and incapable of doing his job as a manager.

"Needs to improve food selection and quality."
Stayed at this hotel 8 times in the last 18 months and to be honest the place and the staff are okay, however, the evening meal and the choice/ food quality have deteriorated over that period of time to the point where I would advise against booking the meal deal ( breakfast only) as a good percentage of the popular meal options are unavailable. Also buy your drink from the local shop as a small extra Peroni is £5. Plan to go out for evening meals/drinks next time we are there as there are plenty of better alternatives even though kids eat free over the summer holidays. Sad really because it should/could be so much better evening food wise.

"Poor breakfast"
The best thing is the location and ease of parking although it was too pay for. The room was ok but there was a stale smell along the corridor. The worst thing was the breakfast and was not worth the money. The plates were cold and at 8am nobody about to replenish the near empty trays of food. The bacon was burnt ( black at the edge) the fried eggs were hard and looked like rubber. No cups by the coffee machine bread not next to toaster, dirty salt pot and to top it all the food was lukewarm. I would stay again for convenience but would eat out.

"Excellent location for Open Air Theatre"
I knew what to expect as we had stayed here before. It’s a good location for the north bay and within easy walking distance of the Open Air Theatre. (The cost reflected this).
You have to pay for the car park, but it’s a good size.
