Scarborough (North Bay) hotel

I can honestly say this hotel has the best staff team, happy to see guests, professional and friendly 😀 nothing seems too much trouble. The hotel is clean, comfortable and easily accessible. Plenty of parking too. Comfy beds and plenty of supplies (towels/tea, coffee, extra pillows). It feels more family led than big budget chain. Book it, you won't be disappointed!

we booked a stay at premier inn scarborough north bay, booked 5 months in advance myself wife and her disabled sister amputee (leg) in a wheelchair we booked her an accessible room with wet room for obvious reasons , when we arrived she was given a standard room , we went to reception showed the guy our booking and he offered some non slip mats i told him with one leg its not possible to get into a bath he went and got the manager who was most apologetic said there was a problem with a room out of order and that he would sort out some way of giving something to compensate for this . we seen him a few times that day and had very sorry , the following morning at breakfast he came up to us and said " i have thought about this and i am going to give a full refund " and that he will do this later that day , to cut it a bit shorter he did not . we contacted premier inn about this and was told after a lengthy conversation we would get a replying email with the outcome in the next 5 working days , 10 days later and no reply i phoned again and went through the whole story again and after a few put on holds they decided they do not give full refunds and the max compensation would be £37 . i asked if they thought this was fair someone spent time in a room washing in a wash hand basin and struggling off a wheelchair onto a toilet that had no handrails or supports if she had fallen off the compensation would be a lot more , and sorry but that is the max compensation allowed , so the moral is if you have a problem at premier inn and you have a problem dont leave the book in desk until its sorted , once you have left they have forgot about you and your problem . needless to say next time i DONT book premier inn i will book travel lodge take care out there

Brilliant hotel with a Seaview and 5 min walk to the sea front on north bay. Nice room ,friendly stall.nice meals ,bar area . Me and my partner stayed here from hull

A big thank you to one exceptional member of staff ☆ We popped in to the Premier Inn Scarborough North Bay for breakfast as walk-ins &, wow, it was incredibly busy! There was one member of staff who appeared to be keeping everything going almost single handedly. Despite being rushed off his feet, he remained cheerful, friendly & welcoming, and even took the time to chat with us. It would have been so easy, in the middle of such a busy breakfast service, for him to become stressed, overwhelmed or simply turn us away but instead he offered us to help ourselves to a hot drink & he would prepare a table for us which he did, all with a smile on his face ! I feel he really deserves recognition for what some may feel he was just doing his job, but he was doing it exceptionally well & his attitude genuinely made a difference to our visit. Premier Inn Scarborough North Ba, please make sure this gentleman ( George, I think) knows that his hard work was noticed & appreciated. He is an absolute credit to you! 😊

Went for breakfast with a friend. It was quite busy. We were asked if we would like to get a drink and a table would be ready soon. By the time we had got our drink a table was already waiting for us. We had gone for an all you can eat breakfast and there was plenty of choice. The atmosphere was calm (even though it was busy) and the staff particularly George were very polite and friendly. It was definitely good value for money and will be making it our breakfast local.
