"Minging!"
First time we have stayed at this Premier Inn. No evening meals, member of staff said due to 'refurbishment' although email at the beginning of September before we stayed said evening meals would be available so spent a fair bit at Italian next door. No hot water on our last day. Cleanliness throughout disgusting, dont think they employ cleaners.Sticky tables in Resaurant, and snail/slug trails on carpet. Creaky floorboards, noisy fan in bathroom. Car park seemed to wrap around Inn so rooms close to car park, we were on bottom floor feet away from car park, woken up early one morning right outside our window some bloke putting yappy dogs in car slamming doors.(if you really want to stay dont get a ground floor room, we laid awake listening to people above us walking over their creaky floor and listening to their noisy fan! Young guys in the restaurant at breakfast did their best but were run off their feet.
"STAY AWAY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"
This hotel should be shut down! It is filthy and dreadfully run! It is being run on inadequate staffing! Employees grossly unhappy with complaints and high turnover! We were told they do not employ cleaners, just expecting staff to clean up after themselves thus ensuring general areas are left untouched! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! ONE REVIEWER SAID IT WAS THE WORST PREMIER HOTEL IN THE COUNTRY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!
"Come on Premier Inn, sort it out!"
Probably the worst Premier Inn in the country! No food available, beds not made in a family room for a child who was on the booking. I requested bedding and made it up myself. I felt sorry for staff, not sure who the bolshy woman on reception was (presumably a manager) but she needs some customer service training and to learn how to speak to her staff in an appropriate manner. It was horrendous weather and cars were stuck on the car park but they refused anyone to book an extra night as she said she had no house keeping staff, i'm not surprised staff don't stay. Huge shame as it's well located with a railway station next door for a few minutes train ride into Harrogate. Come on Premier Inn, sort it out!
"Longweek "
We visited over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of August. I feel sorry for the staff who do their best under the circumstances but are let down by management who constantly leave them short-handed. Food was decent and reasonably priced when purchased using the meal deal along with the cooked breakfast, which was excellent. Things change every day one day the take cash next day card only its a good job it's being refurbished because it's well over due the place is really tiered
"Don't try and eat in the restaurant!"
Don't try and eat in the restaurant. We've visited this PI many times and have always enjoyed our stay. This time, the restaurant staff were not welcoming or friendly so we went elsewhere. There's a lovely Italian restaurant next door with helpful and friendly staff for dinner and the M&S down the road has a great cafe for coffee and pastries for breakfast.
